Hi bros...wanted to change my standard suspensions to Bilstein B12 Kit that comes with H&R springs. My tyre shop friend told that need to order it and it will take like 2 to 3 months to arrive...can't really wait that long la since one of the absorbers started leaking already... any suggestions is very much appreciated. Titan? Anyone tried it?muddy

Consider the hotbits coilovers from speedworks. Good value for money with great results.

Hi Muddy, any updates on your suspension setup? I'm considering a few options myself... wanna lower the car a little without sacrificing too much comfort. bilstein coilover are being considered as I previously used them on my E34s with good results, but titans seem to be value for money and with pretty good performance too, coming from what Vincent posted in the other thread....

Any suggestions sifus out there?

Muddy is already on Titans. I am only the follower.

bro, your e34 using bilstein pss9(a.k.a B16) ?? how much it cost you?

Bro morpheus, it came with the car when I bought it. I don't think its B16... lower spec unit.

Sifu Vincent, I see! Cool... maybe titans are the way to go... Does it lower your car?

Hi fellow forummers,

Wishing all a Wonderful and Prosperous New Year.

I also drive a e38, 728i-1997 which requires new absorbers. Sifu Vincent have also PM'ed me earlier to check out Titan Shocks which I did and was quoted RM2500 for all four. Still considering. I was told they are abit hard.

Would appreciate opinions and advise on this.

Thanks.

I only fitted the front. RM1.3K I rate it as very good. You can ask Richard to set it to your preference. It's a huge improvement in terms of handling & comfort over the OEM BOGE (cost between RM1.3 - 1.4K)

Lower, yes they made it lower for me. But there are limitations. No need to change springs just use the original E38 springs. That's why I said it's value for money.

Yup, like what Vincent said, its value for money.
and upon checking out the facilites that they have, quality of materials used, i believe that its quite a best bet. I still havent got time to go and re-setting my setting to a lower and softer ride!!! repeat, lower and softer!!
The boss, Richard is a very experienced and friendly guy.

Anyway, Happy Chinese New Year folks!!! When we should have a CNY TT? :)

Next time we have a Se7en TT, you guys can have a ride on my Titaned E38. I am truly impressed on how they transformed the ride and handling capabilities of the car.

They can lower the ride a bit using our original springs. No need for those softie Eibach or cutting the springs. I had experienced lowered srpings and bilstien yellows on my previous E34 but that set up, the ride was noticeably compromised. Three months later, I reinstalled the original set up.

Using Titans, that's quite a bit of savings. Plus during initial installation, you can set & reset until you are happy. I think there is still room for my ride to come down by another inch.

Imagine the amount of labour cost for taking out & putting back those absorbers if you had installed other systems.

Vincent,

Just want to ask, currently my E34 using eibach. So, I could install titan without change the spring, is it?:39:

Quite sure you could. But better to check with Richard. BTW I think there is a post somewhere Tom is selling his Titans for E34.
