hi alli wan to ask...our oil level gauge got writing like 0, 15, 30, 45, 60does this means "litre"?or other thingsand ..do we got reserve below the "0" level?just wan to ask so that i know how far can i go.. :D :Dthanks in advance..

yup it is in litres for the FUEL tank not OIL.

Yes, you got reserve if you goes below 0.. You just need to push your car..that all.

When it is below the 1/4 mark, the low fuel warning light will come on. You have a reserve of about 100 KM or so.

Try not to run low on fuel as it damage your fuel pump if you run dry.

oic....
sorry typo... fuel / petrol.. not oil.. :)

than today i must find petrol station before i go home......
my work place is quite far from home....

wire loose or about to break at the fuel sender/fuel pump.

Open the passenger rear seat and open oval cover on the right side (driver).
Remove the big plastic cap and pull out the pump and fuel sender.

check cable condition and replace broken wire.

engineburner-careful with the hoses and clamps (there should be two hoses). If the clamps becomes loose, fuel might spill and flow out from the bottom of the car through the overflow hose. Happened to me once on a ferry from PG to Butterworth (after soldering the loose wire on my fuel gauge, the mechanic caused the clamps to be loose). Luckily the motorcyclist nearby informed me and none was smoking. Cant imagine if someone jst threw a cig butt near the petrol spill.

bro, you are try to relate an engine stall to a fuel gauge that is faulty.

Yes you engine will stall if your petrol tank is empty.

But your engine will not stall if your fuel gauge is faulty and you have fuel in your tank.

Engine stalling could be due to the following:-
1. choked fuel filter.
2. Loss of vaccum
3. loss of ignition sparks
4. faulty fuel pump - does not mean new mean good.
5. crank shaft sensor faulty..

i think is about faulty fuel pump.. it cant detected the correct fuel level from the tank.. thank for the
idea.. but doest it mean i have to change to other new fuel pump...
