small small features you like about your E36

Theres been 4 month owning my 'baby', still can't overcome the 'wow' feeling esp on the features, its my new candyshop hahahaaa....roud:
Most people around me said it was quite a 'big stake' owning UDM as my first car, though never regret my choice!!!

And another things i really love
it exist since early models (such as E30) and until the latest bmw (such as E60)
is the little analog meter that shows "L/100km"

its really cool, and i really thankful that bmw never change it to digital one.
Its so cool to watch
and can observe how much fuel we use
the best thing is,
when letting go to foot,
we can see the needle point to "0"
where no fuel is being injected in the engine
and when press hard.. we can see the lil needle dissapear into over tha max indicator..

Actually I prefer the E36 M3 Evo's meter which shows your engine oil temperature instead of the the fuel consumption.

Yeahh UDM 4eva...
eventhough mines was already 15 years old it feels like new n most of the features can't be beat by todays car.
E36 gonna be evergreen...

one very nice things about our E36
(which, bmw decided to take off after that, so E46 not have)
is the arrangement of rear seat belt

do you notice the seat belt is from middle and clip into the side?
this is nice, because in this way, they wont mess up and click in the wrong seatbelt knuckle for middle seatbelt.

Why i hate my bimmer 36

I DON'T LIKE MY BIMMER E36!!!

1 - it gives me second thoughts about getting a newer BMW.

2 - it still drives very well even after 12 years.

3 - maintenance is LOW, it's very difficult to explain to people that the car is LOW Maintenance.

4 - Everybody thinks its an expensive car, but when i bot it, it didn't even touch RM50k.

5 - fuel consumption is very economical that i seldom stops at a pump station to refuel and paying up to the nice lady at the pump station counter.

6 - security guard always opens the barrier gate without question.

7 - people say the E36 looks nicer than I, the driver.

8 - people say i look more handsome inside the e36 rather than standing beside it.

9 - my girlfriend wants to burn the car because i spend more time with the e36 than her.

10 - people always say, "eh, you didnt wind up your windows!" when it actually does it automatically when i lock the door.

11 - many drivers like to cucuk me and then leaves me speeding off with him behind a couple of tiang and never again chases me.

12 - the angel eyes are so Garang that many drives change lane when i'm behind them.

13 - i pop in HID and JPJ says it came with the car.

14 - when ever my girlfriend locks the door on her side, all doors lock together locking me out of the car.

15 - when i accelerate friends asks "this is a 325 rite?", i said, "NO, its a 318". when of course a 325 got more power.

16 - even the original ICE sounds extremely well, people say "you must've spend a lot on ICE"

17 - i make up the car to look "sporty" it still looks "exclusive"

18 - it makes very little humm that when i trail people walking at the car park they dont realize i'm actually behind them until i honk.

19 - the driving is so comfortable that co-driver and passengers always doze off on long highways, leaving me driving alone with good music on excellent standard sound system, comfortable standard airconditioning, soft standard leather seats, nicely proportioned and leveled steering wheel with minimal driving vibrations on the steering wheel on lowered standard suspension system.

REASON No.20 - i SAYANG my E36 more than i sayang my wallet.

It depends on the year of the car. I think only for facelifted model yr 97 @ above.
Also it depends on the car alarm system (cobra)

It's actually a feature of the alarm system. So if you've changed your alarm to an after market brand you'll loose that feature.

i love my 18 button check computer which tells me how far i can travel on whats left in the tank.
also the code funtion which needs a PIN number to start the car is much better than using an ugly steering lock.

I love the kick down button when you press the pedal to the metal. It goes like...
all guns blazing. By the way, does it actually shift one gear down when we hit the kick down button because the RPM will go to redline. Can the sifu clarify this one? Thanks.

im feel soo naive and shock after read all the statements bout differences with e36...damn im not relize that

but for me the most intruiging me is the shape of the 318 body...i dunno..there is no other cars that so solid and elegent like him....like boxy abit bit with perfect rounded and angle...very nice design
