Ask the E90 320i that couldnt out run the 318i and eventually got left in the dust last sunday coming back from SG to KL 
Quite a few things been done.
ICE: about 700Watts of kick 12" sub fully mounted
Engine: bit of top end work and dyno tuning. (secret part since I will be working on next engine upgrade soon).
Body: just a new coat of Metalic Black and remove some small dints that I wasn't happy with.
Full suspension mods and brakes.
17" wheels with Toyo low profile performance tires (good rubber is the most important thing on the car apart from brakes and suspension).
