Hi guys,I'm new here, could you guys provide some info or point me to a good URL on the following items, for locally assembled (Auto Bavaria's) 94/95 E36 325i(M):1) Gearbox brands and types2) The individual gear ratios (1st to 5th and reverse)3) Stock final drive (rear diff) ratioThanks!LCP

That link has the part numbers... but still can't find the technical details, especially the individual gear ratios.

Btw, to those with local 1994/95 E36 325i(M), what's your rpm reading on 5th gear at 110km/h (on stock gearbox and rear diff.)?

I'm getting a little over 2900rpm, but upon checking my speedo calibration, it's over-reading by about 5km/h, so it's actually around 2900rpm at 105km/h, or approx 3000-3100rpm at 110km/h. Is this about right or way off? I'm on 215/45R17 tyres, rolling diameter is similar to stock 205/60R15, to within 0.28%.

Pls check ur rear diff......It shld be 3.15....

or u can always check wit the previous owner either the diff change b4 to get better acceleration .......

For me 110 @ 3000rpm is high for 325 (M).....but i just compared wit my E34 525 manual wit 3.64 ratio n getting 110@ 2700 rpm....
