hahah......actually j-e34, i was thinking of the safe way u mentioned.....but the thing is.....i dont want to boost too high to achieve that......360....

tkk,i'm thinking of a single turbo setup....but not now la....need to find out the costs b4 proceeding.....=)
400whp is a bit on the highside for me....but i dont mind just to achieve that for record purpose.....=)

if you're looking for the jza70 gearbox the r154 gb...hope u can find it bro:) the price starts from 3.5K. don't bargain when u find it cos its hard for you to bump with it again:) i'm using a modified ones from jzx100 because the gb is 6 inches longer than the jza70. i'm not dumping it in bmw but in a japs car.

ic, how bout others gearbox from 1JZ family? izzit just pure plug n play for the e34?

only 1JZ gearbox can be mated with 1JZ engine. the difference is the position of the gear lever. as for ur case i think it shudn't be any issue because the E34 engine bay is good enough for the conversion. look out for these manual gb's
MKIII Supra Turbo, Toyota Chaser, Toyota Mark II , Toyota Cresta and Toyota Soarer. gud luck in finding bro!
 
I think manual g/box from the Soarer and the rest is almost impossible. The best bet is from the 7M from the Supra MKIII. But i prefer the auto then the manual. Gear change is smoother and have more torque on lower RPM because of the torque converter. But just my opinion. No offence.

Yes, I also wonder, I believe 520 will have better pickup as the ratio is different from 525 but the question on my mind is by how much? Also, can the 520 rear axle plug n play to 525? Any idea how much is the 520 rear axle? Wondering whether is it worth it to do this conversion? Meaning is the difference in torque big enough to feel?
 
i was told we have to change the whole rear subframe to install the 525 axle. quite extensive and relatively expensive job. whcih rear axle do u currently have? im on 520. lets drag and see hws the performance ;)

haha......scared lah, after drag with you, only smell your smoke. Mine should be 525 axle. Well, looks like it's not worth to change to 520 axle since it's not a straight forward job.

Next month i'm planning for my TT bimmer medical check up, anyone can recommend good shop around KL area? If it near Cyberjaya the better =P

Current problem detect so far is wiring, ac fuse blow =(
