Guys,My e30 low beam and high beam are not projecting well on the road...some are way down...some senget...tried adjusting thru the provided levers but they seem to be stuck...Intend to DIY this by dismantling them apart...service/lubricate the levers...Is the above possible? Thanks

There are 2 'screw' to adjust.. unless the mounts have broken... bring your car to the TT session (there's one tonight) to have the helpfuls look into it...

Hi Fabian,
Where will the meeting be tonight?

noted the 2 screws and they seem to be stiff...prob required lubricating/service.

If they are stiff and cannot be turned using the plastic handle at the rear, you can also turn them from the other end using a Philips head screw driver. You will need to remove the front black plastic grill surround to see these of course.

Once you get them started turning, using some penetrating lubricant to free up the screws. You should be able to adjust then. If you turn the screws and it doesnt seem to make the aim change, then check the plastic bushing on each screw. It has 3 legs and if the legs have broken off, it will need to be replaced.

Thanks Iqlima/Fabianyee/evilnickwong.....makes me more confident managing my 21 year e30... :)

Update:

Over the weekend....removed the grills....washed them....adjusted the projector lamp from the front....fix them back and voilla...

smoked lamp set + HID 4300k + matt black grill --> aggressive front...now to look for the fog lamp...they are craked :(

Once again...thanks for the support.

Glad to hear it went well.
I haven't actually gotten around to adjusting my own beams hahaha. Will find one day in a parking lot to do that lol.
