ABS Module Rebuild Service?

Hi guys, im new to this forum. :wink:Today my car (BMW 523i E39 '00) ABS & ASC light popped out. Google online and found out that my car model is known for ABS Module failure due to heat from the engine.Anyone here mind to share places where can rebuild ABS Module? or maybe selling brand new ABS Module for a great price. Prefer in Malaysia.I found few companies providing the service but not in Malaysia. One of them is Module MasterConfirmed ABS Module fail to function cause I tried to swap my module with another owner and the ABS & ASC light went off. ABS Module model = Bosch 5.7.By the way, I'm not sure why my low beam lights are very bad. They are not bright at all. It seems the light is projecting too much towards downwards. Heard it is caused by a broken adjuster? Will a broken adjuster, allow us to adjust the height of the projection? as I'm able to control it from the scroller inside the car. The dial beside the cluster control the mechanism shown in below.

The light still can go up and down if the adjuster broken.

I have not heard that there's such place to rebuild the ABS module in Malaysia. If you do find one let us know, but for now I believe no such place exists. Normally people buy second hand unit at chop shops, about RM1.5K I think. Brand new one can get also, but great price, NO.

Your headlight adjuster is broken la, bro. Buy new adjuster from ebay and DIY or ask one of experienced forummer to do it for you for a price.

Called few chop shop and the cheapest was RM1k around KL area, the chop shop one comes with ABS Pump together. Brand New one @ 1.5k and does not come with ABS Pump. I dont need the ABS Pump since mine is working well I guess. Just need to change the module. Changing to the chop shop one might cause problem in future, so I guess I'll go for the new one?

And for the light, I guess my adjuster is broken as you mentioned. Can recommend me members that provide great service @ a low price?

I don't think 1.5k can get a brand new ABS module as i change mine at 2.8k few years back...without pump as well...

If the ABS module is only for ASC then RM1400 u can get it already.

This 1 i dont know. I bought from Bavarian Auto. Then took the ABS module to let mechanic to install and charged me RM100 for coding.

yup... i concur with tweiboon...i bought mine in march this year & the damage was 1.4k...ABS module for ASC only..

Changed mine recently and cost me RM1,360.00 from BA... Module failure not only caused ABS and ASC to pop up on my ride, it causes Trans-Fail Safemode too...
