I am running on Koni (Yellow) Adjustables on my E30.They seem to be very soft and on their last legs at the moment.. they are set on medium (as per factory setting, I am told)I believe my springs are M Tech.Does anyone know if it's possible to:A) take them apart and service them, change whatever seals and put in new fluids (and if so,where can I get this service?)B) the cheapskate way.......set them to HARD and get back some semblance of it's original stiffnes and use it till it dies a natural death!C) and finally, if I do decide to replace em, is the Bilstein Sports(Yellow) going to be very much bumpier than the Koni's set at medium? This is the height of my car currently........

Koni states that all their products come with a life time warranty.
What they don't tell you is that this is only valid in Europe and you have to be the original purchaser.

You can get them rebuilt locally, i have done this, but there is no gurantee that they will do a good job.

1st first rebuilt set lasted 6 months, and my second on different car, is still okay after 1 year. 350 a pair to re build.

I have given up trying to get this done locally and will now just buy new shocks when the time comes.

Just replaced yellow Koni (in good condition) for my ride to Bilstein sport. None better then Bilstein .

Is it much harder of a ride than the Koni??? And what springs are you on presently?
