E 36 - max speed

Fastest I went with my ex-E36... 240kmh, on the East Coast Highway to Kuantan. Dare not go faster or for too long... the road too bumpy and my car was "real" stock with stock 15" rims and tyres.

Mine is E34, one day i just wanted to try how my car can perform. night time, kesas highway back to cheras. after toll, slow start, understand the car is almost 2000kg if im not mistaken. when the car run smooth, i can feel the weight of the car is pushing the car more faster at 200kmh. I dare not continue cruising when the car seems like to go faster and have amazing energy @230kmh.

yess agreed, mine e36 328 easily reach 200km/h... not try the limit yet.. scared huhuhu...

No la, E34 not that heavy. Should be aroung 1.4 - 1.5+tons (i.e 1400 - 1500+ kg) depending on model. Check out the below link for actual weight for each model.

Reading this thread makes me want to go back and push my car to see how fast it can really go. Always get to 240km/h and never had the need to go faster. =/

I Do almost travel from perak-kl-tganu with my udm.. with crazy speed. my radiator hose and vacum hose got kaput at kemaman because the temperature become high.. i do experiment tht day, travel from perak without engine fan,, haha.. then i have to pay the price of that..

i reached till 240 km/h , it was still smooth . actually i was on the test drive . there was some sort of vibration in the left side tire most probably the barring problem, will check with mechanic later.

a week before raya,while i was travelling from kuantan going back to kl..was doing around 130kmh and suddenly 3 e46 bimmers overtook me..all in black colours..the next thing i did was 'flloor it' and try to keep up with them..after i managed to keep up to them,i was doing 235kmh tailing those 3 bimmers..when they noticed that i was tailing them,they trid to go faster and so did and my speed at that time was 240++ km/h damn..it was fast!!! few minutes after that,we were pulled over by police roadblocks and i was fined for rm300..hahaha but it was really worth my 300 bucks to know that my 12 years old car can still go that fast..

morale of the story: dont go fast unless ur willing to pay for it..and dont go fast during ops sikap..hahahahaha

Or, moral of the story could be, go even faster so you can't even be caught. =p
