Looks like the real thing, until you notice the sender's address and manner of transaction.

helpdept? They gotta be kidding!

why would he wants to buy an engine from here when there's abundant of the same engine where he is???? Shipping aledi cost more than the engine itself...

Becoz he's a thief la. See the transaction. He wants shipping sent to him first, then Paypal supposedly releases the funds. Paypal does NOT conduct transactions like these.

Its not about the Engine, it never was.

Now the fun begins...

Hi John, I would like to meet up with your shipper for logistical purposes as the item is heavy and requires special handling. Perhaps i can meet them at their office here.

Cheers.

Hello John, wow its been a busy day.

I didn't have the 2K required off hand, but managed to convince the Children's Aid Centre here (of which i am a long serving volunteer) to extend me a small loan as the payment of the engine was supposed to go to them anyway. However the Western Union office here says that they require a copy of the UK ID Card or Passport of the recipient as Malaysian Foreign Exchange Laws and the Malaysian Central Bank require these to curb practices of illegal fund transfers. ( there was an uproar here recently as there were money changers conducting International Currency Remittances although they were not allowed to do so).

That being the case, i took the liberty of checking with a freight forwarding company and they said that they could deliver the engine for 750.00, and with insurance. That's massive savings! All i need now would be the address to where you want the engine delivered to.

I hope that we can conclude this quickly as the Children's centre urgently require a Dialysis machine, and these funds will greatly help in making that happen.

Cheers!

Thanks for your mail...You have to go to your Local Post Office and send the shipping agent fee through Western Union Agent to the address given to you and email the receipt of sending the money to PayPal Customer care email so they can credit the whole money into your account.

Hi John, wow that was a quick reply.

I want to help you, i really do but unfortunately as i mentioned earlier, Western Union offices here now require proof of recipient and sender. So if you could email me the same, then things should be okay. However, why don't i send you the engine directly from here? Its so much cheaper and insured as well. That's savings of 1,250.00 for you! Just let me know of the address where you would want it delivered.

Please hurry, I am very excited about this opportunity. I have never been good with money so you can only imagine how happy I got when I read your email. My grin is ear to ear and I had to share it with my friend Pundaa Mavane who i think is jealous that i got such a good deal. John, between me and you, Pundaa has always been a little jealous of me ever since my promotion. I'll tell you that story another time though.

Anyway John, now with this money, I can make the children's dream of having their own dialysis machine come true. And it's all thanks to you. :)

Generally these guys are quite slick, but here they made many errors. Fonts inconsistent, grammar sucks...

"Your account is being monitored through PayPal Security Systems" is purely designed to scare people.

LOL............. I'm following this important thread by subscribing to it.

Whilst my banter with "John James" was going on, this came in. This is how they operate, they'll try to put pressure and most people who don't know how PayPal actually works would fall for it. Once again, see how the font differs.

Actually this is no different from those Nigerian scams.

"Pundaa Mavane"....LOL!!

Exactly!

The thing about the Children's Fund was pure hogwash of course. I just wanted to see if this lowlife would actually want to take money from such a fund, and after his email below asking for the money it was all systems go..

Thanks for your mail...Congratulations on your promotion... But you have to send the shipping agent fee through Western Union Agent to the address given to you and email the receipt of sending the money to PayPal Customer care email so they can credit the whole money into your account.

Hi John, another quick reply. Looks like we're on a roll here, eh? :)

Thanks for your wishes, braah. But as mentioned earlier, i do need the information required to transmit funds. C'mon mate, 2k from the Children's fund is readily available. Lets get this done so you can become another Pundaa Mavane (Mentioned him in my earlier email) but minus the jealousy bit of course.

Just can't wait to tell Pundaa that you're just like him as well. Stay well, friend.

Cheers!

Thanks for your mail...The agent requires the shipping agent fee through Western Union to the address given to you and email the receipt of sending the money to PayPal Customer care email so they can credit the whole money into your account. This has to be made in advance as there are processing charges that have to be made by me.

Thanks for your mail...Paypal just contacted me about the pending payment...If the shipping charges are not sent then they'll cancel the transaction and bill me charges. Once you have sent the shipping charges, email the receipt of sending the money to PayPal Customer care email so they can credit the whole money into your account.

I had a short nap just now, but had strange dreams and saw lots of copy & paste going on. A cat got copied and pasted on a dog, a car got pasted on a house, papers reproducing and sticking themselves everywhere, its like that scene from Disney's "Fantasia", you know the one with the broom - it was so bizarre. I blame Pundaa for all this, that Red pill he gave me might not have been Asprin. But really, do you think this is an omen? My fortune teller once told me that i would be interacting with a "Spirit" from across the waters, and this spirit will embody the essence of a "Cuni Walker" - No relation to the series "Walker, Texas Ranger" although watching Chuck Norris act does sometimes make my spirit detach itself from my body, I'm sure you know what i mean.

But i digress. The cash is here, send me some ID, and Paypal will love you long time.

Cheers! (Uncopied and Unpasted)

PS - Is Emmanuel Wong gay? Just asking coz Pundaa keeps pestering me about it.
