got this from another forum. tested on a local 325i. it works like a charm. so like to share with you guy. "To reset the indicator:-The car should be off-hold down the left instrument button (the trip odometer reset)-while holding the key, turn the ignition to position 1 (radio)-you will see a test menu-keep holding the button-after maybe 10 seconds, the word "reset" will appear-let go of the button and press again-THe indicator is reset!"have funs.

Tried it yesterday for my N46B20. :39: How come I cannot reset the Oil Service counter back to 20k. Anybody can help on this.

Thanks

Just follow the instruction of bro MONTOYA will do, i just did mine after clean the air mass & KN filter and it was reset.
Thanks to MONTOYA for the good info.

Sorry guys - just a question - why would you need to DIY-reset the service indicator?
Doesn't your workshop normally reset this for you after each service anyway?

Sometimes my mech also forgot to reset it, and at times when time permits some of us do the oil change DIY (along with clean MAF and K&N filter)
