Boss, simple oil change using Made in Germany Ravenol VMP 5W-30 - 6 liters (fully synthetic oil Formulated for Turbo engine) + BMW filter for 320d cost about RM450-RM500, inclusive of labour cost.

Where is it morrogan? Heard someone told me at usj1 can get revenol oil plus filter for 350...calling dark 1234..

What's the recommended oil? I'm thinking of buying fully synthetic oil (Shell or Caltex or ...) from Tesco during their sales and using those. The filters are no biggie as long as they're ori.

Is there anything else that we have to replace during the basic service?

I remember last time at 25K they replaced fuel filter...how to get it from after market is my concern...
I believe it has to be change after this...mine now running at 60K...

The service interval for diesel cars are lower (1x,000 kms) than the petrol cars (2x,000 kms).

I just did my first BSRI at Ingress. According to the SA, fuel filter will be changed at 40k km. So by right, should be included in BSRI.

According to BMW booklet, as long as engine oil is LL-04 compliance. It should be ok. Btw, if not mistaken, now all Service Centre use 5W-30 grade.

Bro mat6689, after every oil change can feel the engine rev free light and more quiet. Not too sure due to Ravenol VMP or not. I guess all oil more or less the same. May be the "specially formulated for Turbo engine" words make me feel more protected.

guys, went to servis my 320d last week at usj1,name of the shop is gloriang auto..total damage 355.. inclusive oil filter...using revenol oil
