Just doing my part to encourage others to contribute for a good cause. I believe all of us here in the forum are blessed with good fortune/career and good health to own and drive our BMWs. For these blessings, we should at least contribute back to society especially to the poor, needy and orphans. Some of us spent thousands of RM to maintain and improve our rides, rempit here and there (full tank at least RM100) but when it comes to contribution for good cause.......very very quiet lah.

Hi guys if i'm not mistaken vehicles purchased for this purpose is tax exempt. So can probably go for a better one with this budget ?

I am quite sure the Home can't get tax exemption for vehicle purchase whereas the income (donations etc) are tax exempted.

BTW, will be good if you can insert your name in the donation list above.

Jeffrey and myself have been in contact with other Malaysian based car clubs in this fund raising exercise.

We'll be meeting up soon to coordinate this

Both Herbert and Jarance are correct. The centre needs to be on the list of approved institution for donations recognised for the IRB in order for their donation receipts to be tax exempt and for donors to claim this as an approved donation in their personal/co returns. I do not know the status of this Charity. Worthwhile to check, as this may encourage more corporate/business donations
