How much would that be mate?

Time and DIY involved, If it is to come back close to 100 Bucks. I might as well just go and get the real CF.

I reckon it would be less than 40 bucks for both plate holder. clear coat lacqour is only 8 bucks per can. and you'll only be using less than 5% of it.

What if we drive our cars with these fancy plates into SG?

Not applicable for My reg car..

However, I was stopped by PDRM once on North South highway
not speeding, just saying because my Sg plate ( Prev VW) plate was not 3D. not lawful!!!
WTH!! Obviously they were out for Operasi Kutuk!
I refused to gave " duit kopi" and he gave me a SAMAN!

FYI, such plate is legal in Singapore!

If is proven too difficult, I will just get the Standard Black Plate holder.

get the accessories shop fella to wrap the plate holder for you.... take the wrapped plate holder home, and spray it with lacquor yourself. 4-5 thin coats. with 15-30 mins drying intervals between coats, this will give a smoother non-blotting finish, and the paint won't chip off.

And I think, if you were to clear coat it after all, you don't need to put the expensive 3m sticker. just put the non-branded '3D' carbon fiber sticker, and clear coat it on top. just buff a bit with polish once the clear coat has dried to give a glossy finish.

do u guys know where to find smaller plate number (smaller that the standard)? in glass or crystal..?

idk the exact address, but it's at the shop row near to caltex... you wont miss it... you can see that caltex station from the 'only' roundabout in subang jaya.

have decided to drop the idea with CF plate holder...

I am getting a generic universal plate holder ( no wordings) and gonna get the painter to paint it Sapphire Black with Coating..

I think this will be much easier and might turn out just nice...
