Hai ya, pussy was busy terrorising other lesser Beemers with his munster E30, that is why. Ya lor, set it in motion again. Me very interested to learn too, especially how to deal with SLOTH and its quirks.

OK will talk to taikor XXX and sith for the arranging the clinic at SA.

Not sure whether SA would be keen as this clinic usually involved DIY and better knowledge about the car. Usually most workshop prefer that the client enjoy the comfort of the A/C room rather than disracting the mechanic. This is to prevent distraction of the staff and safety concern for the client.

but, I did visit Sapura Auto before and they do have the latest tools to repair. The workshop manager was very helpful in taking us for a guided tour. I think you was there as well.

just a reminder. I think the agenda is basic and don't required a fully equipt workshop.

This is open to all. No specific models, but to UDM owners only.

I was thinking to organize a Car clinic for all UDM owners where the following items below could be utilized for your benefits.

The clinic is open on a half day basis with a help of a Workshop involved to show you the know how and maintanace.

Agenda.

1. A small talk by a exprienced mechanic, teorical.
2. Lubricant and oil indepth, teorical.
3. Detail breakdown name of the parts of the car.
4. Live demo of a normal service, oil change, spark plugs ( need a volunter car)
5. Q&A time.
6. Refreshments, end.

If there is more to include for the agenda is most welcome.

The clinic is free.

The time, venue, and date is to be fixed

yup it's a basic agenda i drafted many moons ago.. will use that as a guide.

maybe SA can guide on preventive maintanance and usual visual checks for a basic driver who has just bought a bmw.

a small pax of 20 people should be fine.

Pussy, I reckon the above item will be rather tedious.

However, overall I think this is a great idea. In fact, it's good to have more active members like yourself with the enthusiasm to initiate such a beneficial clinic. Fabian and XXX are only policing activities and events initiated by our forumers/members and providing whatever support necessary.

If this pilot project is successful, we can always have sequels to it. Kindly furnish us with your proposal so that we can quickly run through it to see the feasibility. If all's well, green light will be given to Pussy to spearhead this car clinic.
