"I say we support Ingress Auto's initiative all the way since they have done a jolly good job in maintaining our rides "

wait till i rantttttt!!!

Rachel, I'm all for supporting Ingress Auto's initiatives cos I was one of 'em who made first contact with 'em to get invites for club members for their launch. However, I notice they don't necessarily keep in touch with us when they have "initiatives". Like this car clinic, it was BlackE90 who told me about it and suggested I try to get invites for club members. I do appreciate though that once I made the call, they were quite accommodating.

Perhaps we need a good Ambassador for the Club in handling relations with Ingress. For this, I nominate Rachel Toh. I'm sure y'all with agree.

john, I have to agree with about the racheal thingy..

She seem to be able to get the best price as well.. The only way to do that is she got
better connection than you... hee.. hee...

Aiyo, what I am trying to say is their service is getting from bad to worst.
Their service dept TOTALLY forgotten to contact me for my software upgrade until I contacted them (almost 2 months wait). Wait till I tell you what excuse they gave me.

When I informed my Sales Con that I am making a complain, he beg me not too. In return, my sales con also "scolded" me not to broadcast my purchase on this forum. He said forummers using my name to get discounted pricing. I gave him a punch and said this is a free world and we are here for knowledge sharing :p

I guess being IA first few clients, I will get some "priviledges". So I will inform you JPB as and when they have events.

Still dunno what to spent it on..

We learned a lot.. we get to see a dissected N52, those magnesium bolts for single use on the E90 is really super light! Our underseat 10" subwoofers being revealed, curtain airbags, seat airbags, GT1 diagnosis, dissected RFTs with comparison, some advise on "to patch or not to patch", the new 325i comes with intelligent high beam headlights, suspension tester, brake tester... and many more interesting eye opener! Glad I joined!

Oh yes! there were some introduction to BMW car detailing product.. interesting dashboard and rubber protector, and the anti static dashboard cleaner that "repel" dust from settling on the dashboard.. cool?!

Sorry I didn't make it. I woke up at 9 am and felt like I got rolled over by cement truck becos of the night before. So, what did they say about to patch or not to patch?

have 10 inc subwoofer under our seat? its that true?

Not only one, but one under each front seat, that makes it a PAIR!

Try touching the floor under the front seat and you will feel the plastic speaker cover, next to the floor air vents.

We have 10 speakers all in, count yourself! :D

At BMW SC, they do not advice customer to patch tyres be it RFT or non-RFT. That's not because they are selling tyres but the reason is once a tyre is punctured, the punctured spot will the weakness of the tyres and when a BMW is driven at high speed, the tyre suffers a lot of stress and the puntured spot will the the first to give way! So BMW SC does not recommend tyre patch knowing the speed their cars are capable of. They however, do agree patching tyre is a cheaper alternative.

Oh yes, we asked question on the vanishing oil in the N52 again.. and hear different explanation than what Sapura told us!! Gee... I forget what they told us..

How many speakers do we have actually in the E90? I can see 7, 2 @ tweets, 2 pcs @ the front doors and 2 at the rear and I think there is one more under driver's seat coz i feel my butt vibrates when I turn up the volume and bass.

Heard the E90 320i Sports has 10 speakers! Mana dia taroh semua lah?

Each door has a mid-range, so 4 speakers on the doors, 2 subs under our 2 front seats, rear dash has a mid-range plus tweeter each side, so 4 speakers on the rear dash.

4 (doors) + 2 (subs) + 4 (rear dash) = 10 speakers!! All E90 has 10 speakers. The MSport advertisement is just a gimmick!

My wife's E90 sound system does not impressed me at all, lousy in fact and does not pay justice to this car. I have heard better system from other stock sound system from other makes. Really flat sounding with no bass and treble despite adjustment. So I'm surprised to hear that there are 2 subs... need to check next morning.

They should have a least factory fitted Bose sound system with sub as standard. I'm not referring to those after market ICE system which you can spend your fortune on but those that come with the car. Why I used Bose as an example is because the vehicle I'm driving comes with Bose as standard and it sounds lovely.

The new Mazda6 2.5L comes with a 10" BOSE subs hanging in the middle of the rear dash. Didn't get to hear it though.

Our E90 probably tuned for Classical music.. :p I quite like our OEM sound system, not need to put loud loud can still hear songs, radio and news complimented with a tad of exhaust node penetrated into the cabin.. :top: I like it.. :D

We are in a performance oriented car, not in our AV room okay.. :D

Apart from enjoying driving our car, in day to day driving stuck in the jam, listening to music is important to me as a way to de-stress myself from outside madness. Yes, I do like to turn up the volume when driving alone stuck in the jam and it is definitely more enjoyable listening to Bose than crappy sound from E90.

Seriously, the more I think about it, my previous 1998 Honda Accord's stock system sounds better than E90. Even my old E36 325i that comes with stock Blaupunkt player sounded better as well.

Something's not right here beemerlover. I find the E90 stock system quite good, not the best, but better than most. For instance my bass really booms if I turn it up. Maybe some connections are not right on your car? BMW is not known for quality in PDI.
