Saw a set of 4 2nd hand Breyton Imagine 18" rims (235/35-18) with Michelin Preceda Pilot tyres (70%, my guess-timate!) for RM7,000 - is this a good price?

Hi mini jeff,

Depends on the condition of the rim and tires. Not sure about preceda prices but I can give you an 19 inch alternative for comparison.

For the same RM7,000 I am able to get an 19 inch imagine with brand new Toyo T1-R 235/35R19. Includes balancing, metal valves and alignment.

Your preceda are used tires.

7k is super expensive dude ...

a new 18" ps 2 sport is 1000 per piece .

7k - 4000 = 3k . u can get a lot of 2nd hand rims with 3k

agreed!!. michelin will cost around RM900-1,000.

Try calling up rim shops for ori breyton quotes....u can get new breyton magic for around RM6K now!! imagine could be slightly
more expensive (provided they have stocks). 2nd hand prices (rims only) could vary from RM3-4.5K depending on the conditions of the rims. feel free to pm me if you need more info.

Michelin Pilot Preceda is around 1k per piece...

For 7k, Is not worth the $$$. Go for 19"

Quite expensive for a 2nd hand set...hv seen the rim..should valued at ard 4K...remember it is 2nd hand...not new...

Saw another set - Breyton Magic 18X8.5. Quoted RM2900 without tyres. Was given choice of GT Radial or Nangkang, staggered set-up 225/40/18 front and 235/35/18 rear for RM2000.

Verdict, guys?
