M3 19's wont fit without some fender rolling or hub shaving :). I think Autofuture has been trying to sell that set of wheels for sometime now.

Agree on going with Forged wheels. Strong, light, saves FC and makes your car faster and more agile!

Wheels......wheels......and wheelsssssss

Thanks for the assistance....bros......I am still still in love with the AC Shnitzer type IV, 18''.......but needs plenty of mullah...........will be scouting around before making a decision.......I might be transfered to Thailand soon...........do you think that it is a good idea to get my items in Bangkok??............I visited a BMW showroom in BKK last year when I was offered a transfer.........what a sight........saw a 325i coupe.......AC Shnitzer at the showroom........is this normal that Auto Bavaria does that?????............i am serious thinking of bringing my baby there.......some people may think that I am nuts!!!.......but I sayang my 9 months old bimmer......I did post a thread a few weeks ago on this.

Finally.......New Wheels

Finally decided to go for the BMW M Sports 18'' wheels with Michelin PS2 Run Flats.......got a deal from Sunway.............it is true that 19'' wheels will not fit my current baby unless I start to potong here and there

Did you get the 193M wheels? Still the best looking 18" wheels IMO. Mind telling how much were the PS2 RFTs? I'm interested to try them when my RE050s become due for change.

Wheels

Bro,

Michelin PS2 Run Flats, Front - 225/40/18 ZP = 2 pcs, Back - 255/35/18ZP = 2pcs, RM6,400.00

I find Michelin to be softer than my Conti-Originals ( SSR2 ).......I will test further once I clock in more mileage on these new rubbers.

Next Mission........

Bro Schweeps,

My next project will be changing my side mirrors to an M3 type. Went to Redzone for look see.........boss told me that new items for the current E90 facelift will arrive after CNY. Thought of also changing the wooden trimmings in my baby to Carbon Fibre coating?.......any thoughts and the Gear Knobs........gosh..........I think I just caught a Bimmer Flu.....:love::love::stupid::stupid:

Thanks. It looks like the price of RFTs has come down. I was quoted RM1,900 each for PS2s mid-2009. :) Yup, you got 193Ms, the smartest and coolest IMO. :top:

You have wood trimmings? Where, dash and console? Didn't know that E90s come with that.

Bro,

Yes, I got my E90 323i with wooden trimmings......I believe that this is standard for the new facelift models......

Tempting.............hmmmmmm

Bro Spaceman,

Very tempting...............hmmmmmmmm, what price am I looking at for those suspensions?

Bro,

Are those original 193M M Sport Rims? Cause its quite difficult to get from any shop, unless someone goes there and trade in thiers. Moreover these shops also sells replicas. Just wondering.

Cheers

Yes, this is true........I did see the replica ones and there is a slight difference......made in Taiwan......look into the back of the wheels and you will know.......Ah Hing ( shop owner ) a family friend of my wife told me that customers do ask that question..........I believe that they have a way of bringing stuff in.........just my 2 cents.

I did manage to drop by that very afternoon to AB Glenmarie to see my sales person.......manage to view orig BMW on show and what Ah Hing told me was actually true......

End of the day........who are we to say that it is the real mccoy unless we have years of experience in this field.......Replica Rolexes are even getting difficult to figure out.........

Ori have BMW word and also Germany word at the back of the wheels. :)

Did you get the whole set including tyres for 6400?

M-sport sus is available fr the dealer, but exp. If you could source fr another forummer who is going for aftermarket coilover, you might get it much cheaper.

basically you have few options;

1. Lowered Spring, lowest cost of upgrade but not adj. in any way, height or rebound
2. OEM M-sport, high cost, but not adj. in any way, height or rebound
3. Adj. Coilover, eg. KW V2 or Bilstein PSS, high cost but very flexible.

option 2 can be more exp than 3 if you get it new fr dealer. u know la..
option 3 is priced starting fr Rm4k. eg. KW are available in V1, V2 & V3.

There's one more type such as the KW street comfort, its fully adj coilover engineered mainly for comfort while still ride height + rebound adjustable. This KW is fr Germany, NOT the one you see fr local mag.

I m riding on KW V2 with 19" PS2.

Hope this help.

This is the Original.
