Harry..you can get copy of AP from your car dealer. Without AP you might have problem to sell you car in future.

Last week I went to get my car checked....to see wthr my car have the problem or not....since it was on the new year eve (ramai cuti dy) the technicL person ask me just to live the chasis no for him to check and will call me back....I called him backed after a few days....that guy told me that he could not check just by having my chasis no...aik?..his foremen told him they need my remote control to check it....is this how it works?...anyone has this kind of experience? Tq....ps: the technical advisor is a new chap la btw....

The remote control or diamond key allows the tech advisor to verify the car chassis no is same as AP and JPJ registration card.
Also to confirm the manufacturing date and it can also check the actual mileage.
This could be part of the claim process.
