Went to Ingress last week and confirmed my battery cable cover needs to be changed. However they do not have stock and said they will call me back in about a month's time when stock arrives. FOC.

AB, Sg Besi have the stocks. I saw on the job sheet, this cover cost RM 5.00

Hmm, that's interesting. I don't know exactly what is that too but I have yet to bring my car for checking.

Just checked mine at AB, Sg Besi. The battery cable/connection cover was replaced and it took about 1.5 hours. FOC including car wash :top:

do they accept walk in customers? or i have to make an appointment?

That makes sense because the negative cable is called the "IBS cable". It contains a sensor and costs RM1K

Just get back from AB Sg Besi,for recond car hv to do safety check first (Rm300++) than hv to bring registration card+ap, than only can register and check on this recall....:burnout:

No. This recall only affecting E60 from year 2004 till 2008

guys, you can check your car if it needs a battery cable change at Wearnes Autohaus Segambut.. we just have to bring our jpj registration card. and if your car meets the requirement to change the battery cable, they will do it for free.. absolutely no charges.. no safety check or anything..
