guys, you can check your car if it needs a battery cable change at Wearnes Autohaus Segambut.. we just have to bring our jpj registration card. and if your car meets the requirement to change the battery cable, they will do it for free.. absolutely no charges.. no safety check or anything..

Did mine at wearnes. Battery cable connector replaced.

No charges. Furthermore, yours is a local model. Mine's a jap recond

No. This recall only affecting E60 from year 2004 till 2008

The published reports states till year 2010. Do you mean in Malaysia it will only affect up to year 2008 models?

Did mines at wearnes too, take just one hour, no inspection fees or etc, went during lunch time so while waiting got free luch with cake and other bunch foods and cappucino, they also offer free car wash but its take antother 1 hours, so just just thanks to them for their hospitality and very good customer services..no time to wait:thefinger:

My ride is Jap recon 2005 M Sport. Just did mines at Wearnes Autohaus this morning (8am to 10am), took just less than 2 hours.
No inspection fees, free advise and diagnose services, free car wash and checked the original car mileage.

Agree with you ericer. I did my car inspection (nothing related to this recall issue) before i bought my car and it was through the same person mentioned above. Very friendly and attentive, professional and thorough in his explanations.
