Wow, I've never seen this colour on an E39! Very nice, but I think I still prefer Le Mans Blue on the M5.

I took a close look at his car before in Ipoh and the inside plate stated Individual LeMans Blue.

Perhaps kayzhen can clarify that.

Workshop Visit Time

After being 'uninteresting' for a while, the car this evening decided to roughen it a little bit.

Very rough idle on startup leaving office just now.

These are the reading from PA Soft 1.40 I just did:


DME

01/A2 - Ignition activation, cylinder 2, spark duration too short
F2/B3 - Misfire, cylinder 5, misfiring with cylinder cutout (Misfire CARB_A), misfiring during warm up, worsening emissions (Misfire CARB_B1)
F0/BA - Misfire, cylinder 3, misfiring during warm up, worsening emissions (Misfire CARB_B1), low fuel level signal, active during fault entry
1F/64 - Ignition activation, cylinder 5, no ignition spark


So are these ignition coil or spark plug failure?

I think its the coils since there is one without ignition spark..anaksiam also experienced quite the same issue recently..

my painter agreed the original was a tad too " dull " & so we " kajuk " not paint but more "pearls" into it.
now its a "limited edition one of its kind" E39.
dare to be different.....
sure kena ketuk from sifus in here... hehehe....

i find that nowadays there are so many E39 on the road in Ipoh.
are pple dumping their E39's favouring F10/30?
but then again, its really pleasing that most E39's i see are mostly in PRISTINE condition.
