BMW C110 Scanner or V1.4.0 Scanner?

Just wanted to get some ideas about the C110 or V1.4.0 scanner tools available for the BMW.

I want to be able to diagnose / clear fault codes, adjust some settings such as TV in motion - usual bits, live data feed etc.

Considering both units, just not sure which one would be better suited for my needs as i don't fully understand both their capabilities. One bonus is the C110 is stand alone unit, no need for my laptop

If anyone has used both units and can give a descriptive comparison, i would be greatful before i buy one.

Look good for USD46. Some error codes still dont have text descriptions. Maybe can be updated.
