some sort like this pic...see the small black rubber..a needle (i think) will comeout to lock the door...but it's no happened...how can i settle this?another things...where can i make duplicate key? try one key shop..he said he doesn't have bmw keys

u need to repair the lock....u try from rear bonnet (RH side) behind side cover
u can duplicate key, cost between rm100-rm150

I had this same problem, the fuel door was not closing tight enough and the lock did not engage. Try this. close the fuel door and hold it close with your hand. Then lock the car with the remote . Remove your hand , does the door remain closed?

1. pertaining to the fuel cover lock, change the actuator.

2. what year is your model? If before 1994, the key does not have transponder or chip embedded in the key for the EWS
to detect. After 1994, you need to go the authorised workshop or bypass the ews protection.

Assuming the photo is of your fuel door, it's missing a door spring.

Also, the 'needle' is activated by a soleniod (similar to the doors).

I suppose if you fix these 2 problems, it'll work.

Hope this helps.
