Win-win situation for owners as well as suppliers who would be quite happy to offer good deals for group buys (i.e. order on demand) and no risk for holding stock on their end. Only problem is that our cars will all look somewhat alike LOL.

So what are you guys looking at next? OEM blacklines? KW V2's? CF Front splitters?

I did a check.... out of the 64 cars in the E9X owner list, only about 30 to 33 who are active or I should say who visit the forum frequently or at least 2 to 3 times a month. The rest just merely put their name into the list and off they went missing in action. Seldom see them online

anyway...i would luv to get my hands on the OEM blacklines and also the M-tech spoiler for my 325 Sports..
any idea how much the M-tech spoiler cost around here ? I saw couple in eBay going for equivalent of rm870+...

I'm already in a group buy for the M-Tech kit organized by our very kind E46Fanatic. We are purchasing it from Stuttgart Motorsports at a special price of RM5,800 per set, catch is we have to trade-in our original kits. The rear boot spoiler is RM800 fitted and painted (I assume it's the same price if you buy it separately).

Blacklines is RM1100 per set. I juz called Ivan from Stuttgart Motorsports to check if he can lower the price for a group buy, but he says these prices are the best he can give

Well, the discounts you're getting is not due to BMW Club Malaysia but more to do with the longstanding relationship E46F has had with Stuttgart since his first BMW. I don't think E46F, Energy or even myself were Stuttgart's most important customers but we were always friendly and amicable with Stuttgart people. So, I think you guys have a lot to thank E46F for being pally-pally with 'em.

At the end its about making $$$ for these shops. They are keen to go low cos they hope to not just make a little from one off group buys but more in the future as well as repeat customers. Good strategy on their part, but also benefits us owners .

Anyone with good relationship with other shops can get comparative/competitive pricing on the OEM blacklines and rear M boot spoiler.. e.g. Autofuture, M sport division, auto technika etc..etc for a group buy. First question which will be ask is usually how many units? Can give them a target of say 5-7 first, and see what kinda price we can get heh.

Unfortunately in Melaka it's very difficult to get aftermarket parts for the BMW E90, let alone a good price.

Sorry guys, I have to rely on you guys in KL/PJ where there are many more places to source for the parts.

But count me in for the OEM blacklines please
