Still thinking since no dealer can be trusted....any opinions from fellow forumers here? What should I do to check and ensure the car is ok? Get to workshop and run diagnostics? Get car warranty?

@patcsy88 always do your own due diligence until you're satisfied. I'd opt for VIN checking for recorded BMW Authorised services done and checked the car last service history; date and milage. If possible ask the dealer permission to take the car for a check with your trusted mechanic or bring yours to the dealers place. If everything checked than sign for an extended warranty for a peace of mind.
