Most guides may only serve as a reference as it all boils down to applican't net income and documents. Interest rates are subjective as well as negotiation skills plays a role in determining the final amount.

Even >10 years old ride may be able to secure a HP loan, albeit nothing more than 50%.

A 2004 model may still able to secure a 90% loan for 7 years and about 3.1 to 3.2%.

Speaking from experience. From my survey, it seems that PBB & Maybank has the best used car rates in the market. :D

Waaa..its true bro?.. Bcoz from what i heard..Pbb and Am Bank Is the best used car rates in malaysia..Maybank i didnt survey yet..

Btw thanks for your info bro..it will help all the newbie like me..:top:

From PBB is something as followings

2006 - 7 years loan 3.2% 80% of car value
2005 - 7 years loan 3.3% 70% of car value
2004 - 6 years loan 3.5% 60% of car value
2003 - 5 years loan 4.0% 50% of car value
2002 - 4 years loan 5.5% 40% of car value
2001 - 3 years loan 6.5% 40% of car value

If bank cant offer you, you may have to look for credit firm such as AEON

Greetings. Kino here from Seremban. Just bought e46 325i year 2003 last 2 weeks. Black in colour. Comes with a 2-digit Wilayah plate. Paid slightly below 70K for it.

Got financing from Public Bank for 5 years @ 3.75% pa. Could have got 3.5% but would probably delayed the process another 3 or 4 days because you need to "appeal" to HQ for the lower rate.

Now still "learning" to drive the car. So far so good. Really really really loved the sound of the 6 potter.

anaksarawak,

don't know why, but all I know they do full inspection and resetting all the programme. and also they do physical check. and I ask them to give some estimation cost for those that required repair. quite comprehensive and satisfied with the service even though it take the whole day to complete it. as summary my major repair is

1) all bushes and mountings
2) stearing rack (minor leaking)
3) clutch house leaking (I ask them to quote including the clutch plate replacement
4) full major service (all oil/hydraulic, spkplug, filters, etc)

total estimation = 17k

Hi Guys, is this normal?
What i mean is Im also looking for E46 , but looks like the repair seems expensive.
I saw an advert in Mudah, that says "pay and drive, no repairs needed", after going through this forum, i wonder if its true.

The estimate RM17k is certainly very high based on the replacing items 1 to 4. Don't ever believe what is advertised in Mudah and the best is to send the car to a trusted BMW specialist workshop for repair estimate.

Bro Kino,

i just to ask..what your car Register year? its 2003 or below than that..i also plan to get 1 e46 soon..but still calculating loan amount and years..

can you give your banker no?

thanks

AsSalaam bro wan e46. My car is really year 2003.

Before I bought that car, I've viewed about 8 other cars. The first three cars were e46 318i but somehow I just feel that something was missing. ( sorry guys... ). The fourth car was a 320i Jap spec and totally fell in love with the sound of the engine. ( yeah to the 6-potters..!! ). The subsequent cars are all 325i.

So if you want some non-expert advice but at least a hands-on first time experience looking at 325i, maybe, just maybe la.., I can help.
My loan was arranged by the used-car man. From Public Bank, Bkt Tinggi, Klang. But I supposed I had a smooth application because all my previous and present cars are financed by them and my record is reasonably ok.

I took an RM55K loan for 5 years @ 3.75%. Monthly installment at a tolerable RM1,090.

All the best in searching for your car.

One very very important advice : When you test drive the car, make sure you wind down the windows so that you can listen to whatever sound coming from the engine and undercarriage.

Buy and drive, don't ever trust this statement from dealer. From direct owner, maybe. Even if its true, there are no BMW that can be just buy and drive. These cars like to make friends with workshop owners.

Bought mine from a fellow forumer Dec last year...
Went around used car dealers lookin at 318 n 325... No 320 to be found during my search...
As adviced by forumers n a workshop decided to go 6 pot so after short test drive of the 325 I confirmed with the owner on same day...
I paid 90k ,2004 325i ori M sport local, it was advertised in this forum too at that time...
So far have spent about 12k changing failed parts, which was stock... Kinda amazing these parts lasted 7 years prior to me owning it...
Don't believe what the used car dealer tells you, unless he is your personal friend then you will know what kinda stuff they can and will do to sell the car...
Read up on the common failure symptoms if you don't have a trusted mech to go with you...
Check the car out throughly , do test drives n note on the funny stuff you notice, these might turn out to be major cost in near future...
Nothing sucks more than spending much time, money and dreaming of owning your first UDM but end up with a lemon that will bleed ur wallet...
Sorry for the long post and hope you do find your dream car...
I'm lovin mine even tho it gave me a few scares over the past few months... :)

My loan already approve for E46 2002 ( year made ) m43 1.9cc engine
