Any Z4 or Z3 meets around KL?

redz4...which model do you have? the 2.5 or 3.0

My fren has the 2.5 steptronic.

I managed to convince her to spend some $$$$ to get the upgraded euro front bumper.

to me, the 2.5 step is very underpowered...cause i've driven the 3.0 and loved it.
But the handling of the Z4 is by far one of the best handling cars out there. The chassis is so stiff and tight...

I've driven all M3s in stock trim, e30 m3, e36 m3 and e46 m3, and the stock Z4 will out-handle them all. If BMW does release the MZ4 in 2007 - 333hp smg in a Z4, i'll be buying that car for sure!!!

I have the 2.5 steptronic. Now that I think about it, it would have been nice to have the 3.0 but the road tax is going to be double and certainly not worth it in my opinion. It is a weekend car and I don't take her to the track so it would not matter so much. Yes the handling is certainly very nice. The car stays very planted around the corners. Always driving with DSC off
Yes the power is a little down but I don't mind but I'm not all about straight line acceleration. I'm into apexing :aggressive: so a 2.5 or 3.0 would be the same.


That Euro bumper is neat but with some of those stupid road bumps, I think I'm certainly going to scratch the front.

So do you own a E36M3? Just curious cause I have never seen those in KL. Now, that is just a fun and somewhat practical car to have.

Doesn't apply in this country anyway. Coolest ride I've seen a M'sian hairdresser drive is an Altezza. Most of them would drive cutesy cars like Kenari, etc.

Who knows what Winnie Loo drives though.

haha....the hairdresser car only applies to the Z3 & SLK. The Z4 doesnt get that status...yet...hopefully not.

Yesterday i was at DHL....there was this very "happy" person infront of me...when leaving, guess what...saw him driving a Z3 top down...i almost burst out laughing.

Then again, couple weeks back i saw this beast. MZ3 and this is the new version with 333hp, had brembo bbk all around and nice BBS wheels.

REDZ4...i'm in the States lar...so that's why u never see me around

yes apexing will be the same for both cars...but the exit speeds will be different...higher for the 3.0...which is then favorable.

There's a red z4 in my apt. complex...i'd have to say that's a real hot color.
I still prefer black, but red is my next choice.

The spoilers have ACS stickers on the sides.. nice and subtle...

Dude. I was in the States too but don't fancy the Z4 in the Northeast. Maybe when I'm in SoCal, I'll look into it. Actually, I would rather have a bike and a sedan.

I'm driving a S4 in the U.S. and love this car more than the Z4. It is more practical for my needs and much faster :yahoo:

I too have driven all the M3 (E30, E36,E46), M roadster and M Coupe and love them all. Not a huge fan of the M3 other than its looks. The performance is great but its power delivery is too tame for me. My S4 is quicker but handling is probably not as good even with suspension upgrades. But when it snow or rains, I'm the king with Quattro I like the S4 as a daily driver and maybe a bimmer as a track car.

haha...power hungry guy. i drove a S4 with about 350hp...i went WOW....very nice and smooth power...but handling wasnt as good...its a big heavy car to throw around corners...but in a straight line...its FAST!!!

U know, i considered getting either a S4 or the e36 M3...and decided on the M3...just because it shines better at the track and its easier to work on.
The S4 would have been newer and more powerful though...

if the z4 is your weekend car, daily car apa?
