Bro HartgeH5,

Hm. The same question that Bro Benjovi asked also come from my mind. Well, i don't mind to go to KL for my dream car if there is very good offer. :)

I do agree with Bro Benjovi that i thought the best promotion will be some when near CNY?

Bro as far as i am concern nothing like that is advised to us at the moment. But should there be we will know really soon and i will be able to update u guys...as of now we consider the current promo as the best offer as in terms of savings..look at it this way...consider the discount given is the sum of depreciation for the time to come even if you are looking for a 2010 model...i think its a bargain..for a discount up to RM25k on a demo/pre-reg unit...think about it and if you need any help feel free to give me a buzz..cheers

Bro seanchen,

I've been calling around BMW dealers nowadays to find out who is giving the best deal. This is what I found out...

All of them giving similiar prices on the pre-reg '0' mileage unit, which is about RM249k and at quite reasonable interest rate, which is between 2.9% -3.1%. BMW credit. Then again, I will look for Bank Muamalat, which will give you slightly lower (depends on the loan period).

After further consideration, I might choose the dealer which will give me the best after sales service.

F.Y.I. a demo unit will cost about RM243K at mileage less than 5k. I might as well add in 6k and getting a brand new car with it's new car feel...feeling virgin again....

Good luck bro..may your wish come true....

Bro Benjovi,

:top:You really did a good job.

Well, i am disappointed with my JB SA since my SA told me that No more pre-reg '0' mileage unit. The demo which offered to me had been run at 3.8K but still want to sell to me at RM249K. I realized how lucky i am since i didn't sign the deal last weekend. My wife strongly disagreed with me at that moment.

Yes, i will do the same thing. Just add another 6K and get a 'new' one.

Thanks bro. I am going to call other sales centers. Will call the SA in Melaka.

Thanks again. I have seeing light from sky. My wish will come true...

Bro seanchen ,

Looks like the JB sa trying to dig more into ur pocket. My info are from ingress and
AB glenmarie, both are very reliable and their sa will give u their honest answer. Both side have the pre- reg 0 mileage available.

I am in limbo of choosing where to get the beast at the moment.

Bro benjovi,

To be honest, i am quite disappointed with certain SA. I do agree that there are many SA who are very professional.

I hope that other buyers won't get this experiences.

Bro seanchen , how was ur trip to Melaka? Any good over there?

Currently I am eyeing at a demo unit which has less than 2k km on it. I will get the price confirmed on monday.
If the price is right, I will get it and arrange a loan soonest. I'll keep u update on this purchase on Monday.

Bro Benjovi,

So far no update from them since i dropped the SA an email to ask if they have stock there. I have checked that the Melaka Sales Center is not neither AB nor SA. I am going to call the SA tomorrow and see if they can provide better deal against JB AB.

Yes, please keep me update so that i can share your joy. I believe members will love to know that.:top:

All the best, bro.

If you have problem with JB SA, PM me who it is and maybe I can help. Anything you can get from KL, you can also get from JB. Just check with KL (car availability and price) and ask for the car to be delivered to you in JB.:top:

Dear pswchan,

Thanks for your kindness remind.

By the way, the purpose that i post my previous reply was to share my experience with future BMW owners. BMW is my dream car and i believe most of us won't like to see that happen.

Thanks, you have enlighten me since i were thinking when can i go to KL and visit the AB there.

all of u still have a year plus to enjoy the current model of 3 series E90, as the totally new model will be released sooner on 2011 or even end of 2010 in Europe.

Don't worry, we will enjoy our rides for many more years to come. A good friend is still enjoying his E36 M3, and although it's a teenager now, it can still blast the socks off my E90. Such is the value of a truly good car.

Dear Andrew,

Actually, i was told that current 3 series will be replaced by new 3 series very soon, maybe end of 2010. The person told me to get the AUDI A4 since it is 2008 model. Still new and equipped with latest technologies. I did try A4 ( it is a good car) but still like BMW. Of cause, i know that i am quite late for the timing.

You may also wish to consider the 2010 C class with the new 1.8 litre turbo engine. Consumption is 7l/100km and 0-100 in 8.4 secs for lower model with 184 bhp. However, you may have to wait until March/April 2010.:listen:

Don't worry buddy, a new 3 won't be out in 2010. A new 5 has to come out first, and there's usually a 2-3 year gap between a new 5 and a new 3. Also the 3 was only facelifted this year - that has to be milked first. Actually the pace of new model launches has slowed across the whole industry because of the global economy.

New BMW models from now on will focus on the new reality and have smaller engines, turbo-charging and hybrid power. 'The Joy of Efficient Dynamics' (Ugghhhhh! :47:) and no longer 'The Ultimate Driving Machine'. So just go get your 323i and enjoy the last of the full-on straight six screamers. Don't even think about 1.8 litre turbos now. In 3 years time, you won't have a choice, and even BMWs may be 1.6 litre turbos.

hi sean,

have u tried the latest PASSAT CC? if not go n try it, u will be surprised by it's power, specification n comfort. i was amazed as compared to the previous model. 0-100km/h only 7.8sec ,powered by a 2litre turbo engine (cheaper roadtax.....hahaha)

I didnt know the new C comes with a turbocharged engine...

I was on the same dilemma before(imagine for 3 years)...tried the Merc C, booked the new A4 (luckily got my deposit back) and also the super hatch Golf Gti...but i have ended up with 325sports....My first test drive was only after i decided to put my booking..

Dont wanna go for others then regret later whenever i bump with a BMW...but then all the other marques has their own character..i guess me and many here shares the same character

I suppose to wait till CNY 2010 too but cant wait that long since i feel every new day is a blessing for me...

A Kompressor is not a turbocharger, it's a supercharger - the power and torque curves are different. Merc uses superchargers, not turbochargers.
