today afternoon, was at the tyre shop today in PJ State opposite the big police station. i saw on a flat-bed tow truck, a wrecked E60 black. it honestly looked like the front half was almost smashed in to the front doors. only the back was still sorta intact. as the truck was passing, i first noticed the M5 rims. then the side front fender with the M grills. and then the huge cross-drilled front discs. i couldn't see the engine with the M cover though, but it was really in bad shape. but looked like a M5.i do hope the driver and passengers are ok. must have hit something really hard like a wall or something at a very high speed. :( to cause such damage to the front end.sigh...drive safe guys :(

YEah its a M5, can be confirm by looking at the picture in the papers. M5 engine cover with nice v10 emblem still attached... this actually came out in the chinese news paper today, amazing what they have to report.. apparently its some 40 year old dude with two 20&23 year olds female passenger on board.. .

i think it reads in the article the accident happened along the way to subang air port at 2.30ish AM... ermm...it also states they are all indian or indon or whatever.., guess my primary school chinese lesson got the better off me... sigh...

anyway, cronology of event goes like this....

car going towards subang air port... skidded .. then the car hit 3 lamp post along the way and finally coming to a stop when it hit a GIant billboard base.... all three were sent off to the hospital with severe injuries, funny how the chinese newsman never follow on with their progress... lets just hope they are ok.

wanna know how the car skidded?? this road is just a piece of crap!!!SEriously, for you guys who have not use that NEWLY doneup piece of crap highway before, please go check it out, dont speed though, its so bloody bumpy even that bumpy stretch from ipoh to penang is ten times safer...in fact even taking a ride in a banana boat with all the wave is much smoother than that. pity the guy who paid more than 10k to this USELESS government for his m5 road tax and have to drive on a piece of shit like this.....

I stay ard the subang airport area and I got to agree that highway sucks big time. Its super bumpy and there is a great big bump after a slight bend so for those who is not familiar with that road and happily speeding along around the bend, they can easily lose control of the car after hitting that bump. So be extra careful. There is also a tendency for pedestrians to run across the bloody highway so watch out for them too.

And the road leading to the roundabout... do they really need to put the speed bumps there? I really dread to use that highway. Everytime I use it, it is as if something else will fall off my car. In the Beemer it is not too bad. But in my PV6, hell, the alignment would go, I would hear a few more new creaks, something would inevitably fail a few days later...:(

Can anyone post the pics from the Chinese papers? Me no subscribe to Chinese papers....

that's what happen when you have government being run by morons and every tender given to their own cronies .....

anything wrong with the roads one might ask? and one of our dear minister friend will gladly announce " no problem, what problem, nuuuutting wrrrooong.... with his head swaying away...."

And hope his head would fall off after that....

he would say, ' ini kerja tuhan. apa gua bole buat. tuhan mau kasi it hujan jatuh manyak kuat, sampai itu bukit jatuh, jalan pun lobang.'

maybe we should do him a favour and send him straight to talk to the Big Guy upstairs, or in his case, DOWNSTAIRS!! :D

I can't agree more on everyone's gripe about bad roads in Malaysia. It's annoying to the bone. My E92 is barely 3 months and already a tyre shop highlighted one of my rear rims is slightly bent, mostly likely due to potholes! However, what irks me more is show-offs! That M5 driver must have been driving really fast for an M5 to give way like that. I've come across so many of such morons on the roads and wonder how they feel if they take a life due to their insatiable addiction to ego boosting but life endangering actions. I'm no angel when it comes to stretching my car but even on the highway, you won't find me not giving ample yet gentle warning to traffic ahead that I'm ploughing through or tailgating. In small or bad roads which are likely to have slow traffic or pedestrians, it's just such a no-no! All over the world, many ppl can't stand BMW drivers becos of this and sometimes I wonder if it's justified.

Elitism ..........

Rumour has it, the M5 driver and another friend driving a Golf Gti was driving quite fast when a Wira/Waja suddenly shot into their way. The M5 avoided it and whacked into the Golf Gti. The M5 was written off and the Golf Gti has to fork out repair damages of more than RM80k.

Now both of them are happily looking for new M cars at Sapura Auto....heheheh...:D

I saw some skid marks when I was travelling along that road. Not sure if they were the marks left by the M5... It was after the Saujana bridge heading towards KL.. few lampposts were missing and there were marks on the big signage post pillar...

wanna play, go play lah at the track... can go all out and still relatively safe bcos it's a controlled environment...

That highlights another matter which irks me a lot... Malaysian drivers are just plain scary! Becos their Protons are so cheap, they drive as if the roads belong to them. They change lanes like that too without signalling or even signalling the other direction. I was driving in Singapore over the weekend and it's a world's apart like heaven and hell and this is the country we profess to be more Godly?! I think the Gomen should dedicate a huge long term campaign to harness good, modern driving behaviour or we're just like Cambodia instead of picking on cars with Xenon lights!!!

Most malaysian drivers are a little scary, even those driving expensive cars... Especially the new drivers... The root of the problem is at the driving school and driving exams... It's common knowledge most drivers 'pau' to secure a pass in their driving exams... Some more u take exams driving a kancil but drives a bigger car after that... jump into a kancil and u know how easy it is to drive it around.. So I don't think the present driving exams are adequate in present day day-to-day driving...

It is getting scarier by the day... have to apply defensive driving a lot more nowadays. Just this morning, on idiot just signalled and cut into my lane, with me by his side on his right. I had to initiate emergency manuerve to avoid him banging into me. Gave him a honk and he gave me a finger. What gives? Noticed he was a young fart...

Well, we were on the Kesas before the Summit Interchange. Nowadays, KESAS puts up cones after the middle lane just before the interchange to avoid cars using the right most lane making last minute dives into the interchange, thus blocking the those going straight. In a way, I "forced" him into the right most lane and he had to miss the interchange.:D Guess he would have been very peeved....
