320i Common Problems

Hi, im new to this forum but an active member of LYN. Im seriously considering the 320i but am concerned about the number of issues on the car since the CKD version was launched. I would like to know from current owners especially those who have taken delivery of their cars within the last 6 months, what are the common problems associated with the car? Im also concerned about the extra short 2 year warranty as compared to many other makes offering 5 year warranties. Thanks!

Hi bro, welcome to BMWCM. For issue with the new f30, just go through the f30 threads. Lots of info in there. Happy reading.

Don't worry bro. Most of the issues/bugs seen in the earlier batch of the SKD f30 have been addressed. You don't find anyone recently moaning about the infamous rusty seat bracket, knocking steering sound, misalingned/gap in the dash panel, etc.

So, if your heart so desires, go forth and sign on the dotted lines. Welcome to the brotherhood

I also heard the discount but it is only for Msport model and discount is less than fleet discount.

I've been driving my 320i for about 1 month already clocking in 2000km.. so far so good.. no problems at all like mentioned in the previous threads.. and hopefully it stays that way.. haha.. apart from that from what i heard the SA told me that the discounts are only for Msport models and not the 320i/d. ....
