I have a Black Sapphire 325i M Sport with the 18" OEM wheels. I really like the stealth look it gives the car. I have noticed that many of our members on this forum have the 19" wheels. I definitely like them and wish that my car would have come with them.My question is, what is the difference in performance between the two? How about the tyre price? Any thoughts?Thanks..

theres a huge jump in tire prices if you go to 19. typically non RFT 19" is 1.2k-1.5k vs 18" around 700-900

comfort levels also drop due to the lower profile of 19"....im pondering going down to 18" after this current set of tires. Bigger tires also ten to tramline more, cos of the larger surface area

4 CSC3 non RFT for my 19" Msport cost over 5k

Dear sifus..

I'm currently running 18"X 8J (225/40) for front and 18"x 8.5J (255/35) for rear. Is there any issues such as rubbing and etc if i use 18"x 8.5J for rear with 225/40 or 255/35?

No prob, provided u're running the appropriate offsets.I'm running 9.5 at the rears..no probs.Definitely the best compromise between looks and comfort, plus it's easier on the wallet come tyre changing time.
