Thanks for the prompt reply Space :)

Yeah...I'm trying to keep my wheels to the stock look as much as possible....so yeah...my stock fronts are 8J and rears are 8.5J

The Volks config (RE30) I saw on their website have the similar config I wanted...but different in terms of offsets. I was trying to mix and match the config nearest to my OEM setups. Hence, I was trying to go for the Volks with the following setups - 8J with ET40 for the fronts and 8.5J with ET35 for the rears.

Hmmm...hopefully they won't look disproportionate

For the fronts, you can go for a lower offset such as ET30/35 if you can find one. It will push out the wheel and will gonna look mean. For the Rear, 8.5J with ET35 is very close to OEM spec with only 2mm push out.

The front will have problem since your new wheel will tuck in by 6mm, which is not nice if you ask me. That size is for E46, not E90 tho. Try look another set for better offset.

On the contrary, I like tuck in look.. and BMW is designed that way with deep wheel well. :top:

Ohh...you mean concave?
In this case the ET40 is not concave look but rather the entire wheel "retract" making the track width narrower by 6 mm on each side.

If you wish to have the "concave" look, you will need a wider wheel eg 9.5J/10J with lowest offset like ET20-25 or ET10-15 (E60s)...
Higher offset will not create the concave look with a narrower width wheel.
