Hi guys,Haven't been posting in the forum for such a long time since i went to the states for study. Now I'm back and back into my old bimmer hehe but I'm kinda stuck in finding tires for my 16x9. I'm looking for 215/45/16 or 225/45/16.. Sifus any suggestions? Btw i'll be running staggered with 16x7.5 (205/50/16) in front. Thanks in advance :top:

BRO YOUR PROB SAME LIKE ME....i been searching all tyre shop in klang looking for 225/40/16 cant get...now stick to 225/50/16 on my borbet type A..

i'm assuming the 16x9 is for E30, as the same size wheel will require different size tyres for E28 or E24.

i know you can get 225/45 16 for a little less than RM1k, Pilot Sport. go see Manji at MPS Auto. dunno about 225/40 tho.. good luck.

Thanks Mizhan & gizmoz82.. just got myself 225/45/16. Now I have issue with rubbing. Gizmoz82 did u rolled n pulled or only rolled? Any suggestions where should I go to perform this? Mine has been rolled but not enough i suppose.

MINE ALSO ROLLED FENDER BUT STILL RUB...MAYBE NEED TO DO WIDEBODY...HUHU ....mizhan sure can get 225/45 16?U HAVE THEIR CONTACT NO?

MPS Auto 03 5640 0939. suggest you go meet Manji instead of merely calling about the 225/45.

Not many cars use this size as standard; the only one comes to mind is the rear tyre of Porsche 944 turbo. Last check Michelin only produces this size in the original Pilot Sport, n/a with PS2 or PS3 patterns.

Most likely Kit Loong won't have ready stock so need to airfreight.

just a noob question...
if 16x9 running 225/45/16 doesn't the tyre still look triangle? i mean hipari style?
if 245/50/16 i think ok but the tyre too thick...

you're right. 225/45 is perfect for 16x8.
