I understand that the coupes all come with sports suspension and are lower than the sedan.

The sedan came in many options actually from factory. not sure whether AB last time brought in different variants, but mine (ex AB) is a sport package...w/ sport suspension and interior. I've seen a 330 with normal seats too

It's good that you've set yourself a target. I dont have that discipline hehe

Well after spending over RM20k on the car last year, I have ended up with an excellent low mileage 325i which is still in very good condition for a total of RM60k.Still cheaper than a brand new Waja.

I did not get a car that was abused and rotten. In fact it did less than 80000km when I bought it. However unfortunately the owner allowed the car to overheat which caused the cylinder head to crack. Being inexperienced I thought it was a big deal but I have now come to realise that overheating is quite common (although cracked heads arent)as a lot of BMW owners do neglect their cars esp as it gets older.

Neither did I get the car cheap. RM40k for a 1995 325i was about market price if not slightly above. Furthermore I bought it cash and therefore less hassle for the seller.

Anyway, I am glad to have survived through it all and look forward to my next bimmer..in a few years time.

My next in-line is E38.

Once a 7 always will be a 7. 7 actually spoils everything because it has both the 3 and the 5.

In sum, 7 has the power, space, looks, gadgets and most of all, it still handles.

Damm BWM, they sure know how to build cars.

Driving an E46 now.. Hopefully my next bimmer would be an E92. I just love the 3-series. Small and powerful

Next Bimmers >>>>> X6 or new 5er
If not Bimmers >>>>> Hummer or Cayanne GTS

Any suggestion or comments??

Cheers !!!

I'm definitely going back to basics and buying an e30 coupe. That kind of look just never dies. =)
And with a V8 or even an M50, power shouldnt be a problem either. =D
