Does any owners had the problem with tyres getting puncit for X1 Diesel? Since I got mine in Nov 2013 to-date, I changed 3 run-flat and another non-RFD tyre (today) because the side wall of the front-right tyre cracked. Somehow only the front-right is affected.

It would be good to hear from others! Thank you.

4 tyres in 10 months is baffling. I Just went out to check my tyres and all seem OK. Runflats have strong side walls and this should not have happened. I have the same model brand new since Feb this year and no issues at all. Are you using stock wheels and stock tyres ? The recommended runflat tyre should have the RSC mark on the sidewall. This post does not solve your problem but nonetheless is for your info. Thanks.

Bro do get the tyres inspected by the tyre manufacturer. From the look of the cut and you saying it's always the same tyre and same spot, I suspect it could be due to someone intentionally cut your tyre with a knife. Did you offend anyone?

Thanks for your feedback. You can rule out vandalism bro! It just cracked unfortunately.

You should bring it back to the shop where you bought it and ask them to claim warranty for the tyres. They will normally send it back to the manufacturer for an investigation.

Wait, so you're saying the same right front wheel is causing your tyre to crack on the sidewall on your first 3 RFT and then you switch to normal tyre and it also happened? Were all the tyres from the same brand or you opt to switch brands?

I also think there is nth much u can do except to bring it back to the dealer for diagnosis but I would take a look at the wheel itself to see if there is anything wrong with it and try to remember my driving patterns and which roads I often travel on judging their (road) condition.

Maybe you like to corner to the left at high speeds on a certain road on a normal basis haha...just kidding.

The diesel engine is quite heavy, hence u have a very high rate of wear in the fronts.I rotate my tyres every 4 months to even out the front to rear wear.BUT ur case is quite baffling. That is not normal.
