After much consideration, I have decided to sell my very much loved E39. Price on a higher side but I assure you that I have refurbished the entire car, both exterior and interior throughout my 6 years of ownership. Particulars as follows:-
- E39 523i (Sport edition) engine upgraded to 2.8.
- UK Model 1999/2003
- mileage - 200k plus
- Nice registration number - WKT 39 corresponds with the E39 model
Parts recently changed or replaced:-
- Exterior painted with glasurit primer, paint and lacquer in 2015. Took painter three months to strip down and repaint the car. Costs RM10k
- seats upholstered in 2016 to bmw original F10 leather (brown) Costs RM5k
- gearbox overhauled by Mscope in October 2017 with two years warranty. Costs RM6.3k
- Shock absorber (original Sachs Sports Edition) and most suspension parts including control arms and bushes replaced in November 2017 - RM6k plus
- Steering rack refurbished in 2017 - RM1.6k
- sound proofing done at KLAuto
- ignition coils replaced in 2017
- regularly serviced on time
- service record available at my mechanic's workshop - Zender
Disclosures:-
- need touch up paint for scratches and dent in left fender and bumper. I will do it at my costs for new owner
- steering pump is noisy but mechanic says still can use.
