I was at AB getting something done to the car and had a friendly chat with an SA. For the benefit of those thinking of buying an E90 around now, this seems to be the line-up situation:

- The Sports mantle will be held by the 320i Sports for the rest of this year.
- The 320 line-up will be SE and Sports.
- The standard 325i will be re-introduced soon with a slightly lower spec (eg, no active steering) and priced below 270k (probably 268k)
- The 325i Sports will be discontinued at least until the end of the year. Likely that BMWM will wait for the Europe launch of the facelift and re-intro a higher spec 325i as the first facelifted model here early next year. It may or may not be an M-Sports model.

I saw a standard 325i which was to be used for the Advance Driver Training. Noticed it now comes with 17's non-staggered wheels 225 all round and no sports steering. Looked like a 320i from the inside without the sports steering. I was told this is the spec from the Rayong Thailand BMW plant. I wonder if this is the "spec" we'll see for the discounted standard 325i.

I used to be an E46 owner but sold it off becoz moving to singapore to work.

I am heading back to Msia to work and am considering E90 now.

Well, I have squeeze hard enuf to have budget of RM220k for my next car.

After going thru the forum, found that there are some good deal pre-reg car from AB for 320i but I am also very tempted for the 325i.

I understand that there are some parellel importer having 325i yr 05 for a arond my budget.

PLease help to advise.....

I thought I saw in the Star papers someone selling E90 325 '05 for RM 190,xxx. I would really try and get a car with warranty when it comes to the E90s.

Friend, there are a lot of E90 325i for sales at Motor Trader, very good price, only 190k and above............~!!!!

Do check out Ingress Auto's Used Car section! There are some nice choices there and I understand these cars are thoroughly checked and comes with warranty.

unfortunately ingress doesnt have 325m or 325i pre-reg or pre-owned at this point.

AB has 6 units pre-reg 325m @ 270-275k yr 07. But i dont know whether its worthwhile considering the facelift being out soon.... :dontknow:

Rocketman, sadly no pre-reg or pre-owned 330 left at AB....
Saw a 323ci for sale in MT @ 260k yr 06 (used car). So interest, cond of car etc may be an issue.

Considering 325 v 325m. Price diff 50k pre-owned.....

Hey racheltoh, I'm truly amazed you managed to get a 2007 325i Sports at 258k! Makes me wonder how fast my 309k 2008 is going to depreciate. Was yours prereg or preowned?

Don't get me wrong, soulasylum, I'm not heartbroken at all. There were a few prereg Sports left, but in BS colour. I don't like black and I want a particular plate no and zero mileage, so I chose to pay full price.

I'm just amazed at 258k for a Sports, ie, 50k depreciation in less than a year.
