workshop recommendation

hi there, pls recommend me a workshop whereby i can bring my car to initially check for Tyre alignment.area: prefer in PJ, subang area..also, pls advise me how much I should be paying... or "checking" is free?can i also confirm that tyre alignment is not part of the car warranty right??thanks

Rachel, I usually go to LIM Tayar in TTDI. Can't remember the guy's name, but there are only 2 specialists doing alignment.

Checking also must pay lah.

No, not behind Esso. It is another part of Sunway where Autochild, Alfatech, Garang Racing are.

Alignment expertise does not depend on car model and make ..... kereta lembu also they can do.

Normally it takes around 1 to 2 hour to do a complete balancing and alignment but depends on how many customer is waiting there.

Go for on wheel balancing which 1 tyre rm15 only..
More comfortable and they can do until u satisfied...usj shop but i forgot shop name..call me 0123555734 for direction.

This thread comes in the right time, i wanna ask if alignment would affect/ disturb the active steering when they do the adjustment down there... it is relevant? My CBU 325i came with Active Steering...

I am afraid the answer is "yes". After alignment job is done, need to calibrate the active steering with the diagnostic equipment.

with active steering, once connect to diagnostic machine it will know if the alignment is off track or not.... Careful, not many workshop got the know how to do it....
