As long you know how to talk your way to them and depends your luck you get a good person then more discount you will receive =] If you go to other brands like Audi or Benz it will be the same too.

I usually find that AB seems to be generous with their offers, especially during events like this weekend's happening at AB glenmarie. Ingress is ok while quill is usually very sticky with their pricing..

As the SA says, there are 2 portions in the offers, one that is afforded by BMW and another by the dealers themselves. Usually, the ones with the greater financial muscle and volume usually offers a better deal. But that is also SA dependent.

I'm looking at at pre reg 520d and made my first offer which was rejected, and I'm playing poker with them. Well, it's the year end season and for a commodity like a car, I can wait because I'm still young LOL

Just came back from AB yesterday. I thought there is something special deals given but there is nothing much given better than Ingress or Wearnes. Perhaps its because of the SA itself. I guess ill go for Ingress in the end for the deals.

Thanks for the information. Will check back again with SA.

I have booked a 328i Msport pre-reg. What are the usual things to look out for when receiving the car?

Had a bad experience in AB today although already decided to get it from there earlier. Reached there about to finalise it but SA is not honest on the deals. Left with a dissapointed mood with my wife. Drove to Wearnes. Got a honest deals and placed the booking on the spot. Just to shared my experiences only. Another BMW coming into the family now since i have been driving beloved E60 till now. Thanks all the bro's informations here.

Yeah, kinda disappointed with my SA's immediate superior's attitude. Giving a take it or leave it response. Maybe business is good, judging from the public display of the sales closed of more than 50 units over the weekend

Well, guess what AB, I have a response for you too and I'm taking my business elsewhere. Like I said, for a commodity like a car, it's hard to justify for either charging a premium price or nonchalant attitude because (and this may shock you) whoever else I go to, I still get the same bloody car. Hehe.

Guess bro faced the same dissapointment too yah. Mine one, the SA asked the immediate superior come and explain to me also dont want to come out and meet me since i just want them clarified on the deals offered. Anyway, i guess its an experience that we faced. No worries, be happy and enjoy the moment of owning our spirit of BMW car

AB will always be AB - super famous edi with everything negative. What I did with my previous purchase before BMW is that I was totally ignored when I step into the showroom and continued to be ignored for the past 15 mins by almost 8 sales staff so I went into their sales manager's office and told him about his staff attitude. He was apologetic and had his staff attend to me but I said to them the damage has already been done so I'll purchase my vehicle elsewhere and guess what, the next dealer that I visited was top notch.

It's just me but I always have to tell people off into their faces when I'm properly treated.

To me, the concept is simple. Since a customer can get the same car from any dealer, you better make sure you have a value proposition that differentiates you from other dealers. Depending on customer requirements,it could be price or mileage for demo cars. For a pre reg 0 mileage, when you can't compete on price, you bloody hell make sure you offer impeccable service that makes a satisfied customer willing to pay a premium for your genuine work rate or professionalism

Now, if one has an attitude of take it or leave it, or simply dismisses a customer's claim that it's impossible for other dealers to match them by insinuating a bluff, then the customer will either walk away towards the better deal or even pay a premium to the other dealer as a spite

Of course, one customer hardly makes a dent but in the advent of the Internet, social media has its ways of teaching these people some good old fashioned customer service trait ie Firstly, the customer is always right and secondly, remember the first

btw, how come BMW charge a transfer fee of like RM650-750 for pre reg cars? isnt that bit high as transfer fee?

I take back what I said about quill. This time, it was quill who offered the better deal, followed by ingress and worst was AB. Got my 520d from them finally

They are running a promo this weekend if anyone is looking for a good deal. Heck, all the dealers are running something every week anyway LOL
