Recently installed this.Pivot - Raizin Spark Type S
vs-s-img.jpg
Does it work?Well, my 0-100 time improved by 0.8 sec +.Shifting is also smoother in my slush box because the revs are held longer whereas before, the revs fell in between gears, causing a slight delay as the engine climbs the torque curve again...Check it out.

yes i too have heard rave reviews from friends using the pivot raizin spark type s.....
its retailing for rm120 - rm150 right?

its on my list of things to get come new year! :nyehehe:

from the graphs shown, i believe it's just some high voltage caps in parallel....

but i could be wrong though

for those who bought it, do let me know what it is inside...

You can get it at Desmond's, KLAuto, incl installation.

But, at the moment, no stock. Sorry guys. The first batch of 10 was sold out in two hours. Mine was the first car in KL to get it.

Meanwhile, this lets me enjoy the performance edge a bit longer before the next batch arrives.

Cheers.

Bro Tyke,

from your description, I think u're referring to Raizin Blue.

raizin-img1.jpg

I've installed three of these already, next to my battery in the trunk.

The Raizin Red, Type S, fits under the dashboard, next to the ignition.

Cost is still being worked out; I got the trial batch. Price will be cheaper once the supplier gets the volumes up, so hang in there!

As to the other question on how it works, it basically uses capacitors to stabilize the voltage, and the 'clean' voltage yields improved performance in all things electrical in the car.

its got a little light when its installed rite?

Won't that drain the battery if the car is left alone for 2 weeks?

My neighbour has the blue version on his '04 Accord. Battery went flat.

If it is functioning correctly, it will not drain the battery significantly. The mini capacitors in the Pivot will have stored enough energy to supply the led. There should be some circuitry that will prevent the draining of the battery.

Beware of imitation ones which could possibly be the cause of battery drain. Battery drain could also be due to other wiring issues, best to check with electrical specialist.

if the light is just LEDs then it wont drain much of your batt.... perhaps in tens of mW.. it all depends on the current that is pumped into it...

the caps will stop to drain power from your batt once it is fully charged and this will take miliseconds or perhaps microseconds to complete.... again, it depends on the charge flow rate....

hundred over bucks for just 4 caps is rather pricey.... dont you think so?? :beaten: :beaten:
