Thinking to trade in this baby to e46 328 2000 which is around rm 76k in the market now.may some sifus and bros here give me some advice about e46 328 2000 on comfort, power and worth it to change it or not.thanks

Dear mingshing90099,

I am driving e46 328i year 1999 since last year. Bought from UK via my brother. Its a powerful car and need a very low maintenance. Engine is very stable. I heard from friends saying that their e46 318i 2002 and above car having problems here and there and already spent a lot of money for maintenance and yet their car is newer than me. M52TUB28 is a very stable engine.

E46 328i is 100kg heavier that 318i, its steering is quite heavy.....but i like it very much especially long distant driving...it stick on the road like rubber..

Oil consumption is a bit higher than 318i..especially town drive.

Only you have to pay more for road tax...RM1,600.

Mine was already 9 years old car but i've already compared with Honda Civic 2.0 year 2008....mine is still the better car especially when you sit in the cock pit with engine running... SILENT HEAVEN. Not like Honda...even if your mileage is about 180,000km like mine.

good choice bro but it all depends on the condition of the car your get.
the 6 cylinder engine is silky smooth and powerful.

you may need to spend some money for repairing and replacement of wear and tear parts.
but what the hack, you paying less then 1/3 of the car price when it was new.:top:

or you can drive the car to sapura auto for a complete inspection. it takes about one day. this is what i did when i was hunting for my 325. cost rm 300 each inspection.

they'll print out all the problems and also the cost of repair for you. better be safe than sorry bro :top:
