Unusual water leaking

hello thr !i own an e46 '02 2.0cc i was took a ride n suddenly the water temperature just rose to the max...i managed to drive it back to my home ( very near )in the morning, i fill water n start my engine... but i found that there is water drops (very big drops) under the gearbox... help me pls ...my questions are:1)is that water coolant?2)are there some water pipes attach to gearbox?thx...Peace

Go see BMW mechanic ASAP.

2)are there some water pipes attach to gearbox? That the air con drain outlet.

Did you bleed the radiator when you are filling the radiator? There is a bleed cap. Remove it and see whether there is air bubble coming out when filling the radiator.

no air bubble found...
my radiator is ok... no water leak out... only the water drops fall below the gearbox...
btw, i going to find a mechanic for tis problem..any suggestion?

My guess is hose Number 8 has finally kaput

My had had become brittle and sticky with age and it was leaking badly.

Another possibility is Number 9 is broken.

Get both checked.
