Ugrent Help Needed.

I thought you say your locking system mulfunction? try replacing your general module with another one (i mean looking for spare module in your workshop, not buying it first), see if it still happens.

my workshop telling me that the windows caused a short circuit, affecting the car's wiring... causing ecu to breakdown thus also affecting the central locking... hard to believe, that's why i asked earlier whether it's is possible... because i highly doubt that would be the cause of problem.

since u and jarance mentioned about the module under the seats... i'll tell my mechanics to check that out first.

ok. if they can't solve it i can recommand my friend to help u check it out. He is a freelance wireman, solved my e34 wiring problem before.

Yeah...E34 doesn't have it. It has the feature where you slot the key in the drivers door, angle 45 degrees and hold which activates all power windows to go up/down.

Hammer, does it work the other way [i.e. windows wind down?]. So far I always tried that when some of my windows are down slightly, and using that 45 angle method to wind up all my windows simultaneously.

problem solved... the item at fault is the module... my mechanic didn't know what it's called, that is why he simply said ecu. and for that i would like to say thank you to everybody... who has been very helpful since 2 days ago... and i would like to say many thanks especially to walrus,pussy,morpheus,jarance.

thank you so so much everybody, if only rm150 per year is like a peanut to me, i'd be an OM by now.. but will be soon in the future, if god willing. Thank you again.

Illya, glad to hear that you solved the issue..indeed the forumers here are really helpful..am also planning to attend TT and register as OM one day..
