While I was driving, all my doors suddenly locked by itself... and my car doesn't have an automatic locking system. and when I pulled the lock pin up, it retracts back to lock position.. So I had to pull the lock pin together with the door release handle to open the door.Upon closing the door, it locked by itself again. And I tried unlocking it back from outside, to open the door. The lock pin went up, and back down again immediately. Tried this for a few time. And now, the lock pin won't even come up, and I can't open all 4 doors of my e34. Tried opening from the left front passenger door, and it doesn't work either. I tried resetting the lock mechanism by turning the key to the left for a few while (used to have like a soft clicklish-thud sound when I did this before). still it doesn't work.Is there any other way that I can do to unlock my car?

Iylia,

Pls refer link below, my be it can help to solve your problem :

How to resynchronize the door locks?
• After manually locking or unlocking the system, the door locks may become unsynchronized. To synchronize the locks, close all doors, trunk lid and tailgate. Lock the passenger door by turning the key clockwise into the emergency locking position (approximately 110 degrees from position O). Unlock the driver's door. If any of the locks do not operate, repeat the locking procedure until the locking system is synchronized. This might happen if a door which is not completely closed is locked, or a door handle is lifted before the interior lock button is raised.

Open the boot, remove the battery terminal first.

Try to open the door without the battery. Connect back the battery if the door can be open.

I think you need a cold reboot.

is there any possible way to open the front hood from outside?

yes, but i can say here.. then all BMW can be stolen..hehehe

sms to me at Maxis-3131433... i tell you how...

current situation is bad... tried doing a snare with a metal wire... caught the door lock pin... but the wire snapped... called pussy, couldn't find the unlock mechanism for the hood... but i think we did, but hard to confirm... communication barrier perhaps.

still need help :(

Goodness. Sorry to hear about that bro. My car got jammed previously when I disabled the battery and locked all the doors manually. Even the driver's door couldn't open. Eventually my dad managed to get the mechanic to open it up.

is there any crooks out there specialized in car jacking, please help me open the doors ASAP. got class tmrw, need caaaaarrrrrrrrrr :(:(:(:(

If all that didn't work, ring your mechanic bro. No choice. Got a mech on standby?

me mechanic came to my house, arnd 7-ish pm... they tried doing the snare method to catch the door-lock pin... we managed to snare it, but upon pulling, the metal wire snapped... we tried opening the hood, with the help of bro pussy on the line, but couldn't locate the hood latch from the grille... according to my mechanic, the car lack earthing.. that's why the door lock mechanism is not working. well he's coming again tomorrow morning.. hope with all the darkness eliminated tomorrow morning, everything can be solved.
