RM925 just the spring. Quite cheap.YEAH?
And if to be install total will be 1100

Anyway i still find the GTS looks stunning and bigger than the Volks Racing. Futhermore my opinion Germans car should used Tuners rim rather than Japanese rims. Sorry

RM 1,100 + installation, then later have to pay RM50 for aligment & of course later will say the camber run already, toe in & toe out have to readjust, another RM 200. Total: RM 1,350. Better go Hup Soon RM 1,200 nett kau tim everything.

If you want lighter and nice rim go for DPE but will cost >15k for 19" set without rubber..
i heard they are really light weight wheels and someone told me if you have 20" on you'll fell like driving on 18"

DPE has got great designs. Check out their website here.http://www.dpe-wheels.com/

Is there a local retailer here that carries that brand? Anyone know?

Wah the offsets for the 5 series is much more aggressive, but looks like he bought the spec for the E90 :p. Is your offset and size setup:

19 x 8.5 ET35 Front
19 x 9.5 ET30 Rear

Mine is 18's. Still dreaming of 19's tho.

I got my spring done oledi. Total price RM1100. Alignment done at Tyrezone Tmn Megah. Net 60. Still cheaper leh.

Anyway Autofuture could offer a better deal for the Breyton GTS if i'm really serious about it. Anyway still feel confident with their reputations as so many immitations wheels in the market. Later get 2 pcs original and 2pcs fake then matilah. Got some other quotes as well, they could offer original m sport bodykits only 6500 plus painting and installation (still can keep the original bumper), original rear m tecknik spooiler 1000 if buy the kit from them. Black line Tail lAmp 1150.

the bodykit should be my next project. anyway forged rims, if want to buy forged rim, i will chose the style 220 M3 wheels. Look nice but forged come with its price wow. 11,5k. No budget liao.

yes very sure about that. get the m SPort Spoiler ,Damn nice.

Yeah, now no time to do anything with my car. Regarding the chrome finish GTS yeah, it looks much better actually but I was thinking it's not repairable if scratch! So I better stick to silver.

Try go to Exoticmods, they sell cheaper over there though I didn't buy my sets from them. Just happen to be in tyre shop, and just grab from there with brand new tyres. Hehe

By the way, chrome / silver difference only about RM200 to RM300

A story to share,

as you guys know I just got new set of rims with tires. Last week I was forced to buy a new tire due an accident in kepong jaya jusco traffic light. :(

I believe I ran over the debris from the accident and causing a big hole at the side of my brand new (less than a week) Michelin Pilot Sport 2 265/35.

The story behind this story is, I've just acquired a new gadget called "TyreDog" about a month ago and during the incident, it gave me real time reading of my tire pressure. =heh heh= With this, I am lucky enough that the incident didn't damage my brand new rims! By using Tiredog & Nav Sys, I keep on pumping air at petrol stations until I reach my destination safely. =lol=

The sad part is, the next day I have to throw away RM1600 which I used for less than a week and got myself a brand new PS2 for another RM1600. I try hard to comfort myself that I didn't have to throw away my RIMS! ehehehe...

p/s: people's car accident costed me RM1.6k hmm.....

The 220m forged wheel unfortunately wont fit the std E90 body. Some creative guy at E90 post managed to get it to fit his E92 by shaving the hubs and rolling the fenders big time, but its a painful and not ideal way to get the wheel on the car. Also love this rim, but if you see it on an E90, its likely a replica as its so hard to get the orignal ones to fit .

Good choice on the bodykit. Stuttgart is slightly cheaper, and I dont think any other shops can match their price, cos these guys are specialist in importing parts in in larger volumes than most shops out there. Rear M spoiler is 800 bucks painted and installed too. I believe SimonKHW got his M tech kit from them cheaper than any of us. He got good bargaining skills.

WOw 800bucks is super cheap if it is original, cause i thought 1k is oledi cheap. Anyway the forged style 220m according to them it fit well without modification. as what they say check the spec they explain.

According to what i know is Stuggart will trade in over bumper right?
Cause i still want to keep the ori bumpers
Stlye 220 m3
8.5 X 19 Et29
9.5 X 19 Et23

ACschnitzer Type4
8.5 X19 Et33
9.5 X 19 Et24

Breyton GTS
8.5 X19 Et30
9.5 X 19ET25 after with 10mm spacer

They say only 1mm different on front and rear. comparison at the spec given.

Anyway still need to find the budget to get that forged wheel.

Based on what I've read, it's gonna rub. But I guess with enough negative camber, rolling fenders and thin sidewall tyres i.e. Toyo 225/255 size you might just get away with it. The only case I read where someone tried the 220m's on a std E90/92 is in E90 post where the guy had to resort to hub shaving to get the 220m to fit in the E92. Eeek. But the sedan has a bit more room in the rear fender I think.

If it would make sure feel better, I hit a less than 1ft high stone put at the middle of a dark parking lot at a restaurant recently and it damaged my front bumper, my Hamann spoilers, and the plastic cover underneath. The paint job and parts cost me RM2050! Talking about an expensive dinner. :banghead:

bro you are so right about the camber thingy i also kena from hup shun sunway but i guess everywhere the same unless the boss is your friend or something like that

I thought camber, toe in & toe out should be covered under a normal alignment job?

Yeah agree on the GTS being more eyecatching and bigger looking and more towards cosmetic. The Volks are overall a much higher quality wheel, and is more performance oriented ~9-10kgs for 19's forged. Different category of wheel in my opinion. The Volks are the poor man's NEEZ or BBS LM-R forged wheel which are both also Japanese. Japan is the king of forged wheels imho .

can you tell me where to buy VOLKS RIMS for my e60? i'm a poor man leh...cant afford BBS LM's

nope GHS, so far as i know normally they will charge RM 20 to 30 for japanesse car & RM 50 for BMW. Kena once when i changed my rim.

The best place is Leong Seng in Singapore in Ubi. Here, you can order from Stanford tyres or Speedline in KL but it will take 3-4 months to arrive and you pay a premium. To check out the offset and sizes available check out this link. Not sure on the offset of the E60 but you should be looking at PCD 120 wheels.

Just to add, you should be looking at Face 2 for both front and rear...
