Type of modification on your E90

Sidetrack a bit since we are on the topic of bootlid spoilers.
How many of you folks have experienced someone trying to lift up your car boot by pulling on the boot spoiler? It just makes me go like: YIKES! STOP TRYING TO YANK OFF MY SPOILER!!

So whenever I drop someone off and he/she needs to open the boot, I quickly rush down and do it for them instead haha

Another view of the CF boot spoiler for the benefit of you guys. But can't really spot the shape difference compared to the normal MTech spoiler:

Its different shape from the M tech spoiler. The pic shown looks like a replica CF looking finish of the original M tech spoiler, but the ori CF M boot spoiler unit is much more agressive in shape and curves upwards. From the rear view it looks a bit like the picture attached.

Also its real CF, which is very light, but possibly brittle (ack!). Asking price was a whopping RM2.5k for the spoiler tho.. Maybe group buy will be cheaper.

It looks like the boot spoiler is molded onto the boot?

I had asked about the replica AC Roof Spoiler from Racing Fit & Redzone Motorsports in Sunway previously while I was shopping for the black grills/roof spoiler. Both of the shops are selling for RM400 unpainted. Not sure if able to negotiate for a better price though. Heck, Racing Fit even wanted to charge RM30 for installation (black grills & roof spoiler) and RM150 for paint!

Fyi, I got mine at RM450 unpainted in Malacca (lazy to make a trip to Sunway just to get the items). Paint costs RM80.

Went to fix the roof spoiler today but the paint quality was dodgy (again). Actually was supposed to fix on Tuesday but when I arrived there, I found out that there was some paint quality issues and the shop agreed to send it for re-painting. After discussion this evening, they were kind enough to charge me only for the roof spoiler sans the painting costs. Fair enough :top: Oh, and I was misquoted on the painting costs; it's supposed to be RM1xx, not RM80.

So I have sent the roof spoiler to another workshop for painting, hopefully will be ready for fixing by next week.

Just to ask whether the stock 320i e90 headlamps' angel eyes (are they called this?) are halogen powered? is it yellow in colour? anyone changed to the really bright ones?

Yes they are yellowish (refer to my avatar).

I think there is a choice of either the PIAA or Brex "white angel eyes", prices should be in the region of high RM1k if my memory serves me correctly.

btw, the foglights are 3200k and the headlights are 4300k?

Count me in for this one 910.i think i should be going for ACS la.i hope this replica will be oem material.

I think the CF ones will be way higher like RM1k...and since my car is black i don't think ppl can easily spot CF on black color car.I feel CF looks best on silver car:top:

I would be keen to know more about this since my E92 323i comes with only 190 bhp. The 323i is not common in Malaysia, so there's less experience on this than in the Aussie or Canadian forums in e90post.com
