transmission red gear light

Just now my gear transmission light come on so I stop the car for 20mint then drive back after one hour travel so far nothing what cloud be the cost.
Driving e90 320i 2006 hope no problem because on the way going to perlis for work

So far the gear light never come back but the check engine light orange colour come out now but the car ok to drive.try to disconnect the battery but the light still there.hope no problem until reach kl

Check your gear oil

Check gear oil ok.just 2 week ago change gear oil after diagnostic show fault code.4f8c ratio monitoring,gearshift 6-5

Suspect solinoed problem.but after the gear light come I just stop the car start back n drive without any problems from perlis to kl

happened to me once, but mine is yellow, had to restart the car then light gone.

Just send the car for repair the gearbox . because went I both this car they give me smart Warranty for one year including gearbox,ecu,breaking system ,valve tronic motor and some other parts . suspect the selonid valve problem.

Where did u buy the car from? Didn't know used car dealers had warranty

Yes this warranty only cover for car below 10 year only .they call smart Warranty first year free after that if u want u can buy for 1200.00 for one year or 25000 km which ever come frist

Just collect my car from workshop zero cost.they change all the 7 unit solinoed,can feel the different when change the gear very good happy with the results

When I drive above 140km suddenly the light appear then I have to stop and switch of the engine then all becomes normal,or some time when I sudden break this happen.the cost for repair I don't no because claim under warranty

I have replaced my e60 6HP19 mechatronics solenoids 2 years ago and here are the materials & prices:-

1. 7 pcs solenoids - RM1.5k
2. 6 litres ZF ATF fluid - RM 390
3. ZF ATF oil pan with filter - RM 320
4. Labor charges - RM 500

Total: RM2,710
