can any help me? i am experiencing a very slow pick up and sometimes gears dont change when i go uphill or when i floor the pedal.. its a double vanos engine should it be like this? i think my e200 kompressor can even go faster or accelerate faster.. anyone can help me with this problem? does it have to do with the MAf sensor?

Definitely your gearbox problem. Maybe your torque convertor or thereabouts. Bring it to a specialist workshop to check it out. All the best!

gear box cannot find the right gear - could be a dirty MAF

you mention no gear change when flooring it.. kickdown switch could be faulty...

I think your gearbox hydraulic pump is leaking and most probably all the ATF is drained out when the copper seal of the hydraulic pump is damaged.

Try this test. Only a flat surface, press the brake and engaged to "D" mode. Release the brake.

If the car does not move, chances is your ATF is low or your hydaulic pump is faulty or your GB filter is chocked.

BTW, check the bottom of the car and see whether there is oil stain. The ATF oil is rather "lighter" viscosity as compare to engine oil.

already done a diagnostic.. car has no problem or waht so ever... car moves when d is engaged.. no atf fluid leak or wat soever.. maybe its caused by me changing from manual car to auto.. hahah.. feel the lack of response when step on the acceleratior.. maybe its cause of the ETB system which differs from the drive by wire.. i dunnoo... haha

when lah did you did the conversion.. Leaving out such crucial information will not help.

have you checked your ATF temperature????

e46 325 should not be slower than the e200k
